There will be a nailing flange on the walls of your shower. Typically, drywall screws are used on this flange on the top portion and along outside edges spaced 6-8" apart. Use a high quality tub/shower caulk down the seams.

That part is Maax only, you will need to go through them or a dealer in your area.

SOURCE: Trying to install a Maxx

Hello. You're not going to believe this, but MAXX says that the drain and the wall pannels (glued) will keep it in place if the floor is properly leveled before. Personally, when I installed mine (model 105525 - exactly the same installation instructions) I used silicone on the base at each stud area. it's secure, but not permanent, and won't allow an area for a crack to form.

Hope this helps.

Sometimes you have to override inadequate instructions with application of some common sense. It might be interesting to know why Maxx thinks the inside track should not be sealed. Also, test for water migration from where it should be to where it shouldn't be

I have a Maax Neo-Round Corner shower that leaks under the track the doors slide on. I have caulked inside & out but still leaks. Any suggestions????

You may have to remove the doors and the track and reinstall the track on top of a "bed" of caulk or sealant to prevent migration of moisture underneath. The leakage also may be caused by moisture running down the inside of the doors during active showering. Check also for warpage in the track that would cause it to seal unevenly

Leaking Neo-Round shower stall???

Check really close to make sure there is not a small crack in the base. Many times they can barely be seen and when you stand in the shower they open up larger allowing water to leak out. You may have to have someone else stand inside while you look for the crack.

We have had our shower for 5 years now and it continues to leak at the bottom corners. we have the corner shower stall against a tile wall. I have replaced caulking several times even removing stiles...

You need the base taking out and installing properly.

If must be on a firm surface with no movement up, down, backwards or forwards. The best way is to glue it with a bed of expanded polystyrene so it can't move. Then you need a tile to shower edge filler which overlaps the base. Fill the gap with silicone, between the base and shower and when it is dry, put the edging piece on bedded into silicone. Then tile over the upper part of the edging.

Mark, I'm having different problems with the same door. Try "filing" down the ends of the bottom rail, where it is contacting the curved corners. You might have to buy a metal file to accomplish this. Go heavy on the adhesive caulk on the underside of the bottom rail. Make sure the shower base is clean and dry. You might have to push down with your arms for several minutes to get the adhesive caulk to stick. Good luck, I have to go back to my folks this afternoon, because I can't get the door panel in w/o it scraping the top rail. Ugh.
