It fills on wash and rinse cycle but won`t stop. won`t go into aggitating cycles or drain. it will drain and go into spin if it is switched mannually the tube going from switch level is ok no cracks ect.... but it won`t stop filling what else can it be. if it is a switch which one and can i change it my self can`t afford a tech or repair persson.
Depends on what you have to do to stop water. If unplugging or switching off at control stops it, it's most likely the pressure switch. If only way to stop water is to cut spigot off, then water valve is bad.
The switch the tube connects to shuts the water off. Will it cut off on high medium or low level. You can try blowing on the tube to see if it works. It should cut off when you blow.

I had the same problem. and I did the suggestion dated 9/26/06. Too another piece of hose and attached it to the water level switch and blew into it. and the machine began aggitating. My question is... DO I replace the hose?? or switch?? Now that I have purchased a new machine. I find a solution, Oh well. thanks df

Easy fix. Do this: Remove the rubber tube coming from the bottom of the tub up to the water level switch right there at the switch itself. Blow through it to remove the sediment in the bottom of the tub so that air pressure from tub to switch will be kosher. Put the hose back on the water level switch tight and pump out any water in the machine.

does it still make the noise or does it go away?
if it goes away when you take the agetator off then you have a bad agetator
