"You may need to tip the dishwasher forward, use a towel as water will get every where otherwise. "
This worked! My dishwaser was properly draining, but this time it stucked with the blinking glass light. Powering off/on, didn't work. I tipped it forward and a little bit of water fell off of the bottom front panel. Pluged it back and it now works! Thanks!
Most likely the flood switch is triggered. This causes the pump to operate as soon as you start it. Check if the float at the base comes up when you press it by hand. If not the float spring might be stuck and pressing the flood switch underneath.
You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.
Robin,
Does your dishwasher runs? Check the water control knob, is it ON position?, check fill valve solenoid connector if not connected it is not going to sense water.
