I have a Kirkland Signature (Costco) washer made by Whirlpool. The model is #SAWS800JQ2. I am experiencing the ability to complete the agitation, however, the drain cycle won't work. I had to drain the water manually after trying to make the washer "agitate" again and again, hoping the drain cycle would function properly. I also tried to manually turn the dial to the drain cycle and pull it...to no avail
It is possible that your lid switch is defective. Bypass the switch and try again-Please unplug your machine while you bypass switch. If it still does not drain the I would suspect your timer.

Sounds like a lid switch. there should be a hole under the lid on the right side about the size of a dime. Make sure the plastic "flipper" is inside and "clicks" when you push down on it with a pen.

what you need is a motor coupling. it connects to the motor and the other end of connects to the transmission. the part about 10.00 but i recomend having a professional install it because it can be tricky. i suggest you buy the part at a parts store or even online to get it even cheaper and then have someone install.

broken coupler. device between motor and gearcase, look under washer behind the motor for small plastic and rubber coupler. may be worn or broken. cheap part/fairly simple fix. parts house will run ou through the process or i can provide details when you are ready.

HI, any resistance when turning the impeller in this case will confirm pump failure. these motor should have very slight resistance when manually rotated. the unit will not initiate a full cycle if the pump is defective. replace the pump asap.

You need a timer the motor contacts are probably burnt.
