Error E90 The washing machine keeps coming up with error E90 and stopping mid cycle or before starting. May be conneced to dryer as it first started to happen when using the dryer.
That happened to mine, and apparently it is the connection to the control panal at the front of the machine or the desplay unit (4 blue wires). Take the top off and wiggle them around or re-connect if any are loose. Mine worked for one wash and then started displaying E10........so i'm not amused and I think i may end up getting a hotpoint!

E90 is family error code visible to the customers. It is necessary to read the error in the service mode so please proceed with the following procedure for rapid reading of alarm codes:
Press and hold down START/PAUSE and the option button nearest to the START/PAUSE button for at least two seconds!
After that the display will show one of the following errors that are more precise:
E91, E92 - Communication incongruence between main board and display board (versions not compatible). Posible causes: wirings, main board or control/disply board.
E93 - Incorrect configuration of appliance. Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty.
E94 - Incorrect configuration of washing cycle.
Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty.
E95 - Communication error between microprocessor and
EEPROM. Posible causes: Electronic board faulty.
E97 - Incongruence between programme selector and
cycle configuration. Posible causes: Faulty electronic board (Wrong configuration data).
Considering that this is a complicated fault, my advice is to contact an authorized service center.They have special equipment such as an interface that allows them to upgrade software in your appliance. If you are not doing anything on the appliance before the failure, the only thing you can check is the contacts between wiring and electronics.
E90. The E90 error code is not a common error but it may occur when the washing machine electronics get wet for some reason. This may happen if wet clothes are left in the washer for a prolonged period after the wash cycle ends or if the same load is washed repeatedly.
Basic Reset
One of the first steps whenever an error code appears on a Frigidaire washer is to perform a simple reset to the machine. To reset the washer, press and hold the "Cancel" button for 15 seconds. Then try to set a new wash cycle and press "Start." Note that any clothes that have finished washing should always be removed promptly after the cycle is done.
The E90 error code is not a common error but it may occur when the washing machine electronics get wet for some reason. This may happen if wet clothes are left in the washer for a prolonged period after the wash cycle ends or if the same load is washed repeatedly. If the cancel button reset does not remove the E90 error code from the display, try a full power reset. To accomplish this type of reset, unplug the washing machine and wait 15 minutes or more. Unfortunately, if the cancel button and/or full power reset attempts do not eliminate the E90 error code, it is very possible that the electronic control board will need to be replaced. Here is the board to order.
If you found coins and such in the drain filter then there is a possiblility that the impeller in the drain pump motor was damaged and you are not getting good water flow thru it. The machine will error out and stop mid cycle if it detects it has not drained in a set amount of time. OE indicated a drain error.
I suspect you need to have the drain pump motor assembly replaced.
