My general feelingf about F&P appliances that smell of burning is to advise pouring fuel over it and putting it to rest for ever!.

I suspect that your pump is jammed, so you will need to get into it and remove the inlet hose to the pump and fish out the item causing the blockage. This unit should have had a strainer over the outlet, but one gets what they pay for in quality not nessecarily the price they pay.

Hi just read your posting.Now Error code 136 means you have a motor stall fault.This means the motor controller cannot start the motor turning.Has your machine been noisy on spin?The things that cause this fault are,seized or faulty bearings, wiring to the motor faulty,faulty motor,faulty rotor position sensor, or faulty motor controller.Do you have or can borrow an electrical test meter ?If the answer is yes I can guide you throe the testing of the components to track this fault done.Please reply with additional information about the spin cycle and if you can get a meter and I will help you further.

Hi just read your posting.Now 1st I need to know which type of pump you have on your machine,Please look underneath the machine for me to the front right.You should see a red or black fan.This is your pump.If you do not have a red or black fan attached to your pump then you have the other type with is held in by 2 screws.Please reply and tell me which pump you have and I can guide you throe the removal and cleaning of the pump.Also is your machine draining into the laundry sink or elsewhere?

Check your belts and replace if faulty
turn the pump by hand with belt off to see if pump is jammed
still no go, you may have a faulty electronics board.
