I watch the TV and in the upper Left-hand corner the channel display box keeps popping up every few seconds. It only does it when i'm watching TV. It doesn't do it if i'm on a different a different input.
What you all need to do is get away from a coax cable connection. If you have a cable box, or satellite box, take the coax cable off and use red, white, n yellow rca composite cables to connect your recievers to the tv. if you dont have a cable box, either get one, or get a converter box and use a tuner outside of the tuner within the unit. The tuners in those tv's are built to show you when you experience signal fluctation(which is normal with a coax cable) and thats why the box keeps popping up on its own. good louck to you all with this problem

The channel information/display won't stop popping up and mono changes
same, again with a sharp
Have 2 Sharp LCD TVs; one is an Aquos, one a standard model LCD. Both have the same problem described above: the channel information keeps popping up, and the mono/stereo display keeps flickering.
I don't have a cable box or a satellite box so I need a converter box like the ones used for the new digital switch?
I have the same audio display fluttering. It doesn't occur when watching DVD's, just cable. It is on 90% of time as well. It's annoying and really just want to return tv, but wondering if there is a quick fix. Coax Cables don't make sense to me because my last tv was hooked up the same way and worked just fine. Anyone know how to fix this????
