Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series - No clock/oven functions

I have the Frigedaire Gallery Dual gas range and oven.  The controls to set time/ cook temp etc are not functional.  Oven light will turn on and the range works (b/c gas stove tops work).  Oven light working tells me that it isn't the outlet or circuit.   I think there must be a fuse blown within the unit.  Any ideas?  I couldn't find the right product below - my model number is FCF379WECN

I have the same problem. Everything works fine except for the clock/oven functions.

Ours went out three days ago. Same symptoms (oven light works, burners work, warming drawer works, but not oven or clock). Repairman just left. He says the EOC (electronic oven control unit) is out. Quoted $369 to fix. Not a chance! Time to buy something new.

Getting f10 on oven

Hi Dave, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

The oven wont heat up.

Hi.

Since the oven has two heating elements, if the oven does not heat up on any condition, and both broiling and baking element are not working, then the most common fault causing the problem is a faulty temperature probe.

The temperature probe is located inside the oven cavity.
On most ovens there is only one temperature sensor, connected in line on the circuit from electronic oven control to baking and broiling element.
When the probe fails, it will affect both baking and broiling function.

The temperature probe is tested reaching the probe, cutting or disconnecting its wiring, and testing the probe at room temperature, with a multimeter set on impedance at Rx1. If the multimeter reads no continuity (circuit open), then the probe must be replaced.

If the temperature probe is good, then parts that may be responsible for the fault are oven electronic control and wiring. Having both elements failing at the same time would be rather unusual.

If only one element is failing, then the fault is probably the element. In that case you can test the element removing it from the cavity, and testing Ohms on the element. If circuit is open , then the element must be replaced.

Regards.

Oven light is not working

It is most likely to be the bulb which is faulty.

You should be able to replace it quite easily, nornally the bulb cover will turn anticlockwise and reveal the bulb which you then replace , remember to use a high temperature replacement.
