Boughtthis LG 42 PC 1 RR Plasma TV just 1.5 years back its display is conkedoff. Dont know what to do the Plasma panel costs around 30,000 IndianRupees + extended warranty of 5,500/- . Contemplating to replace this or buy a New TV. Don't know whatto buy NO LG **** at least this time.Any suggestions as to where we canget plasma panels for cheap In India .

check all inputs on tv ,also check if menu on tv is working ,make sure lines arent being produce by another source, cable box etcc..If menu and or OSD are affected .Then there is a good chance you have lightning damaged some where in signal section on tv .

LG service is non- existent . The only solution that I can suggest is "Give a wide berh to LG products. Dont ever touch any"

This is almost certainly the device that sends electricity to the the plasma in the panel after failing. Bring to your local repair shop and expect to pay 300-400 parts and 100-200 labour.
