we have same mac os, delete the software that was been installed then go to LIBRARY then go to RECEIPTS then delete the epson names you have in that folder then empty the trash then restart your mac install the software again then click the update after you finish installing then after updating online finish reboot and use.
You should have observed that when you get a blue screen it says that some hardware or software change could have caused it. Thus when you installed the software there must have been some issues with the same. May be the company providing the s/w must have received similar complaints and the update could hav had files to prevent the blue screen.
The same happens with Microsoft as well. Some updates might cause blue screen which makes the system go crazy. Sometimes we might have to reinstall the OS as well.
Cheers !!! Your system is back to normal from the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) !!!
Well there's 3 possibilities which comes to my head: 1. Least possible: You have a strange virus (it's least possible, because almost no one makes viruses for Mac). Try checking with some antivirus. 2. Possible: there's some error with drivers or OS (i know, MacOS X is much better than Windows, but no one is perfect, right?). Because MacOS = drivers +OS, try reinstalling it. 3. Most possible: Something is wrong with your hardware. And I think with your cooler. In that case this explains, why you're asked to restart - the system tries to prevent overheating.
Hi Melimiti, You are not the only one with this problem. Cubase is quite a complicate software. If reinstalling does not help we need to have a CLEAN Install on a new OS. If the problem still persist contact the vendor for the product exchange.
Alot of people complain about the same problem with Vista... Vista is just full of problems... all it is is another ploy to send bulk cash to Bill ****** Gates
Forget about the Minolta software. It's buggy at best with OS X. Use VueScan instead. A free trial is available so you can test it before you commit to buying it.
