Try goof off if that doesn't work by a bottle of appliance touch paint and cover it. The paint can be expensive but it comes in a little bottle like white out or rattle can and a little goes a long way. If your appliance is white I would recommend using some fine grain sand paper to get the blue off first then covering it with paint.

My Kenmore Elite Top-Load Series 700 Washer leaves streaks on clothing. It looks like dusty powder. I use liquid HE detergent. It was a normal cycle of dark clothes, not heavily soiled or dirty. Also

THE stains on your clothing especially on whites are most likely due to a top seal failure on your transmission. transmission leaking oil. if the clothing affected or the stain can be removed with a solvent like gas, kerosene, paint thinner repair on washer will exed the value .... if the streaks or stains can be removed with a water soluble detergent then the stains are caused by the soap and or hard water deposits in your washer . then the solution to cut way down on soap usage in your washer and or running an acid wash (soap is alkaline acid will dissolve it . make sure not to over solvent your clothes and to rinse all solvents out completely . be careful !!!! a solvent soaked t-shirt bunched up and left in tightly sealed plastic bag WILL CATCH ON FIRE!!!!

Making more room in your freezer

Although plastic containers are certainly convenient for storing frozen foods, freezer bags can actually save room. Place your cooled soups, stews, or fresh fruits and vegetables in a zip freezer bag. Close the zip top almost all the way. Then gently press out the remainder of the air and finish zipping the top shut. Place your freezer bag on a flat surface such as a small baking sheet and place the sheet in the freezer. After a few hours, check the contents of the bag. If they are frozen, remove the baking sheet and stack your thin bags, saving space and saving time when you're ready to thaw the contents. Thinner items thaw in less time.

Betsey johnson perfume spray broke

1. Look at the tip of the nozzle to ensure that it is still intact. If there seems to be a perfume buildup within the tip, simply run the tip under hot water and use a pin to pry any gunk loose. Press the nozzle tip gently down on the top of the perfume bottle to reattach.
2. Remove the tip of the nozzle if it will not spray and soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Apply the alcohol to the interior top of the plastic tube and let it sit for 10 to 15 seconds. Use a pin to slide down the center of the tube to remove any built-up gunk that may exist in the tube. This tube is what feeds the perfume from the bottle, to the tip.
3. Use tweezers to pull the plastic tube upward if it will not connect to the nozzle of the tip properly. The tip should snap onto the plastic tube; however, if it does not then the tube is too low in the bottle.
4. Return to the store, where you bought the perfume, and request a new replacement tip. Craft stores may also carry the replacement tips. The sprayer inside the tip may be off or uneven which will cause the perfume not to spray.
5. Exchange the perfume for a new bottle at the store. Manufacturers, especially if it is a new bottle, will replace the bottle at no charge. Depending on the store, you may be able to exchange the bottle even if it is almost empty.
6. Pry out the inner workings of the perfume bottle and dab the perfume on your skin, instead of spraying.Take the insides of the nozzle out by removing the tip, and use tweezers to remove the inner tube. Around the edge of the perfume bottle is a plastic encasement that will need to come off. Use a pocket or paring knife to loosen the edges around the encasement and pop it off. Under the encasement will be a metal ring that attaches the encasement to the bottle. Using the same method as the encasement, pry the metal ring off the bottle. Purchase a small cork to insert in the bottle to prevent a spill.

How do I remove a perfume stain?

To remove a perfume stain, sponge or soak the stain in cool water. If stain remains, soak 15 minutes in a solution of 1 quart lukewarm water, 1/2 teaspoon liquid dish detergent and 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Launder as usual.

Need to repaint bubbled and peeling paint on top of dryer

The choice is yours. Money often motivates these decisions. If the model number you have this listed under is correct, the top panel price is roughly $108 to $160 depending on the color you need. White or Bisquit is the cheapest, while Pewter is the most expensive. If you wish to replace it, appliancepartspros.com carries it for the cheapest price.

If you wish to paint it, remove the panel from the dryer first by locating and removing the screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the dryer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off. This will allow you to work on it in a more convenient location and avoid any overspray from paint on your appliance. Make sure you clean the surface throughly to remove anything that may have caused the paint to bubble and peel in the first place (Ospho is commonly used to clean metal surfaces in preparation for painting - clean AFTER you sand). I would sand with a fine grit sand paper or emery cloth to ensure you don't leave any surface scratches. Prime the entire panel to provide a good surface for the new paint to adhere to. Once the primer is dry, apply a couple of good coats of appliance paint. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Detergent stains on the finish of the washer and dryer

Try one or all of the cleaners listed below to remove the stain. Hope this helps you.
  • Oxygen bleach
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Acetone
  • Paint thinner
Steps to Remove the Stain:
  1. Laundry soap dyes are usually more difficult to remove than other colors.Ā² However, oxygen bleach, such as Oxi-Clean, can sometimes clean away even the red stains. Sprinkle the powder on a damp sponge and scrub away the stain.
  2. Soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe away the detergent stain. If the stain is not immediately lifted, allow the alcohol to soak for several minutes.
  3. Vinegar is effective on many kinds of stains. Make a solution of one part vinegar in two parts water and sponge the vinegar onto the stain.
  4. Baking soda can be effective for removing detergents from appliance surfaces. Sprinkle baking soda on a damp sponge and clean the stain until removed.
  5. Combine equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide with water and sponge the stain with the solution.
  6. Soak a cloth with acetone nail polish remover and use it to wipe off the stain. If the stain does not wipe off right away, it may help to lay the cloth over the stain to soak for a few minutes.
  7. As a last resort, wipe paint thinner on the stain. Paint thinner can remove most dye stains. However, you may want to test this on a small, hidden area first to be sure the paint thinner won't damage the lacquer on the appliance or cause any other adverse effects.
  8. Once you have removed the stain, wash the area with soapy water to remove any residue from the cleaning solution.
