Create a folder

Good morning, is it possible to let that scanner create a folder automatically when I do a scanning. Thanks Francesco

    Excuse me,
    but is it possible to create a folder for every scanning with a USB scanner, that is little? I have a canon P-150 scanner that is not an MFP (multifunction printer). Thanks

    Ok, but how can I do? My sodtware is CaptureOnTouch, and I must tell it in which folder I want to save, creating manually the folder if it does not exist. The scanner lets me create only the file

The answer is yes.the driver software of your scanner automatically assigned folder for the save scanned documents.

That sub folder is in a windows protected folder. See if you can create a folder un your libraries subdirectory and name is scanned docs. Then tell the scanner to send it to that folder

Can we scan to a folder on a pc or directly in to an online storage like dropbox?
Its possible, but you'd need to adjust the software... I suspect it wont be trivial. :(
For a specific PC folder, you would need to find something like 'advanced settings' or 'folders / directories' in the software you use for scanning, then find the 'default destination folder'.
FOr dropbox, that would be more difficult, and probably require additional software that creates a 'virtual drive' on your PC , which you would then direct scan-software to use. ( like PC folder above).

Alternatively , there may be other scanning software packages available that can do this job better than the one youre currently using. Goodluck!

Hi fixya i have presented this problem a few days
Go to Start\Programs\Panasonic and look for the "Network MFP Utilities"
There is a "Network Scanner Configuration" software that create
s a "Location" for the scanner. The location can well be a network drive or a shared folder on your computer.
Once you create the location, the scanner will pick it up automatically so when you want to scan, you will be able to select the destination (i.e. the location you created)
You can create several locations to be able to save scanned docs in more than one place.

Canon IR C3100N Scanner Setup
Hi Its fair simple, if you are scanning to windows PC, Create a folder called scans in your C:\ drive. Share it and give all the permissions. Thereafter log on to your copier using the IP address in your internet explorer. Go to address, click address book one, click the second tab on your left saying register new address. thereafter enter you name, then change from FTP to SMB and then host name will be your computer name\ip address, followed by scans(\\computername\scans)just like that. followed by your username and password.

Automatic focus on Butting Target failed
Hi!. You need to create tables using the Oxyjen Installion Utlities. Make sure that your Calibration side is positioned properly and the four foucus types are calibrated. Once the tables are created, save them to the appropriate tables folder.

Canon 4200f - Mac OS-X compatability
This solution does not work. On MAc there is no way to use this scanner. Canon sucks!!! There was no info about supported os on the box. It is just unfair to sell products without providing drivers for users.
