Schlage FE595 keypad replacement part

Does anybody know if there are replacement keypads available for these locks?

I have already contacted Schlage and these parts are not available for purchase. They will repair on a warranty basis but if you're not the original purchaser, you're up the creek for help from them. The rep told me they do not have a part number listed for this circuit board but it has a part number on it but doesn't show up anywhere when I Google it and that is really strange. It's like it doesn't exist. I know they're out there but finding one is evidently going to be difficult.

Thank you, Russell, for that feedback. EBay would be the only other place I could think of to hope to find your keypad. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Update from Schlage. I had commented on their site about no spare parts being available and one of their reps contacted me and says they are going to replace the lock for me. This is a very generous gesture on their part and if it comes thru, will be a great deal for me. However, the problem still remains that there are no parts available for the other people that have this same problem. The locks have a lifetime warranty on the finish and mechanism but the electronics only have a 1 year guarantee. And the electronics is so easy to replace and the two connections have plugs on them so it was meant to be replaced. It may seem cheap on my part but I would hate to throw away a $150 lock because the company refuses to sell a $20 circuit board. And if I had to replace it just after the one year warranty ran out, it would not be with another Schlage. As Coaltowner1 states below, Ebay may be the only place to find one and it will be a scarce listing. Also, if you do find one, make SURE you get the programming codes for it or it will be useless.

Problem fixed by having my wife look it up on the Schlage website. The deadbolt has a flash memory so your combinations and codes will not be lost when the batteries are changed.

SOURCE: I can't find the code

How can I program my electronic keypad lock when the instructions with the programming code have been lost? The back plate of the keypad side of the lock on the exterior of the door has a sticker which includes the serial number, six digit programming code and two pre-programmed four digit user codes. The lock must be disassembled to a point the exterior of the lock can be pulled away from the door and the information on the sticker made note of.

Schlage FE595 lever return spring broke. Can it be replaced?

A local locksmith may well have parts or access to get them. You could also try Schlage direct. They are an expensive unit, so they should be repairable.

I have a Schlage FE595 Keypad Lever lock that needs the battery changed, but I cannot remove the cover after removing the screws.

There are two Philips head screws that hold the inside cover in place; a manual screwdriver is better than a power one. The screws are positioned close to the 12 and 6 o'clock (12-hour clock) positions around the lever handle. Thus the top screw is below the manual lock; there may be a cover partially hiding the fastener. The manual for the FE595 is available from Schlage here: https://www.schlage.com/content/dam/sch-us/documents/pdf/installation-manuals/23780042.pdf . Make sure to look at the picture for your lock since the manual covers at least three models of keypad locks. A better picture may be in the installation guide here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfimages/cf/cfae64fe-e7be-4146-bc26-4803ec302d5e.pdf .

Try carefully running a utility knife or other thin blade between the inside cover and the rest of the lock housing on the door. You may have some dirt sealing the two sections of plastic together.

I hope this helps.

Exploded view of parts for fe595 schlage digital lock

If you haven't already found this out, parts are not available.
Response from Schlage:
Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately if he had these locks on his business there is nothing we can do as far as repair. And unfortunately there are no dealers who have the parts available for repair. These are strictly residential keypads. I am sorry about this.

Schlage keyless lock lost 6 digit code and no sticker inside either

You will need to take the keypad look off of your
door and record the 6 digit programming code and the two factory
default PIN codes. You then need to perform the factory reset to
erase any codes and restore the lock back to the factory defaults.
This procedure is outlined, as well as the programming of the device, in the attached instructions.

The switch that unlocks my schlage FE595 door lock from the inside needs changed and I can't find a replacement.

Schlage's warranty policy covers the electronics for 1 year to the original purchaser. Last week I answered another question about buying the keypad assembly for a Schlage lock. Here's his experience:
"I had commented on their site about no spare parts being available and one of their reps contacted me and says they are going to replace the lock for me. This is a very generous gesture on their part and if it comes thru, will be a great deal for me. However, the problem still remains that there are no parts available for the other people that have this same problem. The locks have a lifetime warranty on the finish and mechanism but the electronics only have a 1 year guarantee...."
I suggest that you contact Schlage, but you will probably find that you can't buy the switch you need. Plead your case, ask to have it elevated, make a negative comment on their website like the other gent did.
Here's the contact information:
Go to Schlage.com Click on :"For your Home", then "Service & Support", and under that "Contact Us"

I am looking for the downloadable instructions for the FE595 V CAM 716 ACC. I need to change my code and I can not find my instructions.

This link will take you to the page you need, to get started:

http://consumer.schlage.com/Service-Support/Pages/InstructionandManuals.aspx

Then scroll down to this heading on that page:

Electronic Security-Keypad Entry Flex-Lock...
There's a wealth of info under that heading. You will be able to see a PDF file of the original print instructions, as well as a video of how to install the lock. This is useful because there should be a sticker to be found on the backside of the keypad, with the code number ( the programming code) that you need to reprogram the lock. This installation video (fourth item down) will be useful to allow you to disassemble it and view the sticker. This is also a great time to change the 9-volt battery! A battery should last about three years under normal usage.
The ninth item under that same header is a video which walks you through how to reprogram the keypad to your new code, using that program code that you found on the backside of the keypad.

A note about the PDF files: If you cannot view a given file, you need to first install Adobe reader. You can get the free download from here:

Good luck--and please provide feedback if this helps!
