My mobile is asking for a PUK code and i don't know anyone with an idea sim how should i find the PUK code for it??

You also can ask your provider for a PUK. If he can't give that, he should be able to give you a new sim and put your phone number on the new SIM. With the new SIM comes a new PIN and a new PUK.

PUK code comes with your phone sim card when you bought it.Try locating where the whole box or package of your phone. Some sims comes with a manual and usually the puk code are written in there..Others comes like a regular size card and you have to detach the sim from there..in this card thee should be two Puk code that is written..

Just call your provider and tell them you need a PUK code, they will be more than happy to give it to you.
you may also get it from the company website or go into the provider store.
this is something they do all the time

  1. Contact your cellular service provider and have it provide you with a new SIM card. Let it know your account and phone number so that it can transfer your phone service to the new SIM card.
  2. Check the manual that came with your phone to see if the SIM card is found in the standard location beneath the battery or if it's located somewhere else.
  3. Turn your phone over and remove the back plate by pushing down on the slide panel and sliding it away from you. Remove the plate and then put your finger in between the battery and the side wall. Push the battery away and pull it out of the phone.
  4. See if the SIM card has a metal covering. Remove the covering if there is one present and then pull the SIM card out.
  5. Place the new SIM card in the card holder and then snap back down the metal covering. Make sure to place the card in the same direction as the old card or your phone will not be able to read it. Put the battery back in and then place the back panel back on. Power on your phone to ensure that the SIM is working properly.

WARNING
Do not enter in any codes if the phone asks for a "PUK" or "SIM lock" code. Contact your cellular provider immediately and request the code because if you enter in an incorrect code, your SIM card will permanently deactivate itself.

PUK code is called as PERSONNAL UNBLOCKING KEY.
Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. The PUK code for mobile phone.so that you can open your phone. When you planning to call your service provider you cannot use your mobile as it is fully locked. Please use some other mobile with same network to call your service provider.
While you get the PUK code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PUK code
DONOT enter the PUK code several times wrongly,It will block your sim card permanently.
This PUK code is FREE. You no need to pay any sum to get the PUK code

Yes you can use your mobile by inserting another sim card,but first you should know the security code.After just you have inserted the new sim your phone will automatically ask you to enter security.So, if you don't know the security code only one time (once) you can enter 0000 and in case if the 0000 doesn't help quickly contact mobile repairing shop.If you enter wrong security code repeatedly again it will ask you to enter PUK.So, for better result do what i said.

You need to contact the mobile provider and tell them your SIM is locked, and it is asking for the PUK CODE.

(I work for a mobile provider and it is a very common call.)

The PUK code is your Sim security password, its coming with the sim packet, if your throw that packet then take you friends mobile and call to your service provider and ask the your PUK number he ask some security question for you, give the answer after he will give you PUK number of you SIM, don;t worry this is best way to solve you problem.

What is a PUK? PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key, and it's a code that's associated with a mobile phone SIM card.

Why am I being asked for a PUK? Your mobile phone's SIM Card has a four-digit PIN code enabled by default. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times, a lock will be put onto the SIM card, and you need a PUK code to unlock it.

Where do I get a PUK? If you're being asked to enter a PUK, you will need to contact your network operator to get your SIM Card unlocked. This is for security reasons. Note that only your mobile phone network operator can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your SIM card.

Hi,

When a PIN code is entered wrongly three times, the phone line will be blocked. Irrespective of the owner, it is assumed that you are not the owner of the phone line when you enter your pin wrongly.

The blocked line at this point can still be unblocked and this is where the PUK code comes in. Once you enter the PUK code, your PIN code will be reset. You can then create a ne PIN code.

To get your PUK code, if your phone is using a SIM Card, Check the SIM card Pack and you will see your PUK code there. But if you don't have a SIM card pack, you can get the PUK code from your service provider.

Call the customer care line of your service provider using another phone, request for your PUK code and it will be given to you. Note that your service provider will ask you some few questions about your line in order to be sure you are the real owner.

Note that your service provider alone is the only one that can give you your PUK code because it's only your service provider that has it.

I locked myself out of my phone and its asking for the PUK code and i dont know the PUK code.
The PUK code is provided by the service provider. Don't try to enter the wrong PUK. It will block the SIM card. So you have to do one thing. Switch off your mobile and remove the SIM card from your mobile.You can see 19 digit number in your SIM card. Please note it down. After that plz refix your SIM card and switch it on. Then you plz call your service provider from other mobile (it should be same network) and ask for PUK. They will provide PUK code when you give that 19 digit number. You can enter that PUK to your phone.
