1st = try to determine why freezer is not freezing.
fridge is cooled from freezer.
water may not be flowing because freezer is not cold enough to make ice.

Verify freezer door is closing and seals are sealing. If you slam the fridge door closed and the freezer door moves there is a problem.

The refrigerator half of a refrigerator/freezer does not produce any cold! The refrigerator is cooled by transferring air from the freezer to the fridge. The fridge temperature setting controls a flapper between the freezer and the fridge. There should be a fan which blows air from the freezer into the fridge (through the damper).
If the ice forming in the freezer is concealing the cooling coil and air can not move through the coils, then the overall result will be a warm freezer (even though there may be ice in one location) and a warmer yet fridge. This can be tested by unplugging the fridge and allowing a complete thaw. If the ice is the cause of the problem, then it should work for a short while until it freezes up improperly again

This is due to your fridge not cooling correctly. When the temp drops low enough, condensation forms. When the cooling picks back up, it freezes. Make sure there is nothing blocking the door. Also check the weather strip around the door to ensure it's seated properly. Over time, these strips become wore out and out of of shape causing air to leak.

Go to sears.com, select "Parts Direct", enter model number and wait for unit to be displayed, find ice maker part number and price.

check for a blockage. There is only one cooling section, divided by airflow for freezer / fridge.
Perhaps something sticky is in the vents, or the freezer section has poor airflow, resulting in ice formation.
Unplug the unit for several hours, clean out vents, and make sure freezer section has good airflow from the vents.

you may have to remove the floor of the freezer. At times they fill with water and freeze. and you cannot see the layer of ice under there. This ice can form in the channel that allows the cold air into the fridge. another suggestion would be to put the fridge on the lowest setting then raise it up about 3-4 hours apart. hope this helps. sounds as if you have an ice buildup restricting the fan from moving airflow to the freezer. Inside the freezer take apart the lower shelf and see if this area is full of ice, if so clean it and defrost it.
