Ipode problem i have philips ipode.now it is not working.it open at that time it shoes some repair option .so i want gogear software

1.Attach your iPod to your computer by whatever means it uses (dock, USB, Firewire, etc)

2.Open iTunes.

3.Click the button in the sidebar that says "YOUR_IPOD'S_NAME"

4.Click the tab at top that says "Summary."

6.Click the button that says "Restore."

7.Choose "Use Newest Version" when you are prompted for restore options - this will restore your iPod to the newest iPod software available.

8.Wait for the computer to restore the iPod.

will it sync with your computer ?.... if its charged try pressing the middle and top button at the same time and hold for a few seconds until the apple appears on screen

Try a different set of headphones - if these do not work, call Philips and redeem your warranty if it was purchased within the last year. Headphones can be replaced, but headphone jacls cannot be repaired.

You have to do the "update" in the Philips Device Manager (make sure you are connected to the internet when you do) to repair the corruption: Recovery Mode for Philips' GoGear
Open the Philips Device Manager (Start à All Programs à Philips Digital Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and click on the “Repair” tab.  Then click on the “Repair” button to start the repair process.  Most of the time, when your player is in that state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged in.  If this is the case: Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.

Philips GoGear Firmware Upgrade
You need to get the latest firmware upgrade from the Philips website:
1. Go to www.philips.com/support
2. Enter your country/language
3. Enter your model # SA6045 or whatever
4. Click on the link for your exact model # (the one w/o the "B" in it)
5. Click on "Software & Drivers"
6. Download the updated "Device/Firmware Manager"
7. Once installed, open the Philips Device Manager
8. Click on the "Update" tab, then the "Update" button (with your mp3 player connected to the computer, of course)
9. Your Mp3 players firmware will update automatically
If you do not have the latest version of the Philips Device Manager installed (the latest is the version from the Philips website), then clicking the "Update" button will give you a false positive saying "The firmware on your device is already up to date."

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

You must do a firmware upgrade to resolve this issue.

Open Philips Device Manager (Go to Start--> all Programs--> Philips...), and click on Update tab

It will delete all songs off your player, so be forewarned
Enter your model number on the website, click the link on next page that says SA 5125/37 w/o a "b" on the end
Click on Software and drivers tab
Click on firmware upgrade software - instructions enclosed
