The fill tube frozen. Unplug refridgerator. Remove water line from back of freezer and carefully pull fill tube out of freezer. Defrost, replace, reattach water line.

Ice make hose keeps poping off

The reason your fill tube to the ice maker is freezing up time and time again is simply the valve, or valves (water valves) that dispense water to the door and ice maker. It most likely always is the ice maker side because it is always harvesting ice and it gets used the most. The only way to stop this is to replace the water valves almost always located in the rear of the Refrigerator with the supply line coming off the wall the valves with one or two electric plugs that energize the solenoid type valve when unit calls for water. Tired of getting out the hair dryer and melting the ice that plugs up the fill tube? This is the only solution. Some of the time is because lime, or other deposits in the water will not allow the plunger to rest in the complete closed position. When the valve is energized for the amount of time needed it lifts the plunger allowing water to flow through. Then when it goes back down
to the closed position it has a small gap that causes water to seep through. There you have it! It's fixed! Unplug unit before replacing valves. If you have a double valve system make sure your lines go back to the original spot. Some of them have a 1/4" line with plastic compression fitting for the ice maker and a 3/8" for the water at the door. Some have both 1/4" compression fittings coming out like "Amana" so once again, make sure to get all lines back to the same position.

Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series - FRS26ZSH My ice and water maker have stopped working. First the water stopped then about 5 days later the ice maker stopped.

you will need to replace the water inlet valve, this runs your water and ice,, before you replace it take your water line off and hold it in a pot, then have someone turn the water back on , this will let you know for sure you are getting water to the valve,, if no water comes out then you have a water line prob,, have that fixed then hook it back up and turn it on, then you will need to run the water for about 2 -3 minutes to purge the air out of the line,,, if you rplace the valve you will need to purge also

My ice maker has stop working .mod FRT21TNGD3/FRIGIDAIRE

First need to determine water supply. Water filter and or inlet screen fouled? I know this is assuming the water supply is open..
Check the ice level bar to be sure it is in the correct position for making ice. If it is incorrect poition, the ice maker "thinks" the ice bin is full. I would start there with the water supply though. Most likely...

Frigidaire FRS26ZSH -ice & water dispenser panel lost power

I think you will need to unplug the pin plug under the cover at top or bottom hinge. Check the voltage and if OK leave unplugged until you can remove the dispenser and I will try to help you from the power source. Sounds like a short in the board and related to the light socket. The fuse only stopped the short from doing further damage, You may need to locate the short before replacing the fuse or board. I have looked over the wiring diagram. If you find the short without my help just be sure to replace the fuse with the correct size. The only things are the chute heater or something in that area of the board went to ground. Do you have a voltage meter? Contact me later when ready, Sea Breeze

Frigidaire FRS26ZSH no water at dispenser or ice maker

  1. I would remove both solenoids (one at a time-not to mix them up) pay attention and mark all parts- try cleaning or replacing them. Most are fairly common supply items. Paying attention to wiring and proper installation is important during re assemble. JOHN-LA

Frigidaire signaling water dispenser instead of ice maker

Sounds like the water solinoid valves are wired wrong. One activates The water dispenser. The other the ice maker. That, why every so often the water shoots out on the floor. The ice maker is telling the valve to open.
