Remove bluetooth paired devices?

On the paired device list screen, just wait it out for about 10 minutes or so and the list of devices will eventually become enabled (device names will turn from being greyed out to white). You can then select a device and then hit the remove button. After that, as you go back to the main Bluetooth setup screen, you may notice that the register new device button is stilled greyed out. Just wait a little bit and that should become enabled too. Good luck. I found all this out by accident as I was troubleshooting the same problem on my unit.

Kindly help me connect my samsung HM1100 bluetooth headset to my playstation 3

1) Go to "Settings" on your PS3.
2) Scroll down and select "Accessory Settings."
3) Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices."
4) Select "Yes" when the message "The Bluetooth device has not been registered. Do you want to register?" is displayed.
5)
Turn on your Bluetooth headset when asked by the message "To register (pair), you will need to prepare the Bluetooth device. For information on preparing the device, check the instructions supplied with the Bluetooth device." While each Bluetooth headset is different, for most this means to hold down the power button until the blue light on the device remains solidly lit.

6)
Select "Start Scanning" once your Bluetooth headset is in "pair" mode. Wait for the PS3 to scan for your Bluetooth headset. If the scan was successful, your Bluetooth headset will be listed on-screen. Select your headset from the list

7) Refer to the Bluetooth headset's instruction manual to find the pass key for your device (Usually the pass key is something simple like "0000" or "1234". Press "X" to bring up the on-screen keyboard and enter the pass key. Select "Enter" then "OK." "Register Completed" will display to confirm a successful connection.
NOTE: If the headset does not display after a scan, it may not be compatible with the PS3, or it is not properly set to "pair" mode. Refer to your Bluetooth headset instruction manual for directions to properly set your device to "pair mode."
If you want to check the User Manual for your Bluetooth, simply click on the following link:

I tried to connect my emerson 227 bluetooth to my ps3. it tells me to press the start button and enter button on the device at the same time and wait until the screen changes.. well it never changes.. what...

Pairing the Headset with a Sony Playstation3 Entertainment System:

To pair your [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset with the Sony Playstation3 (PS3), go to the PS3 main menu, scroll to "Settings" and select.

Scroll to "Accessory Settings" and select.

Scroll to "Manage Bluetooth Devices" and select.

The menu will ask: "The Bluetooth device has not been registered. Do you want to register it?"

Select YES.

Put your [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset into discover mode (see X.XX of this manual for instructions on how to get the headset into discover mode).

Select "Start Scanning" from the PS3 menu.

Once the PS3 has discovered the [EM-227] Headset the screen will read "Select the Bluetooth device to register".

Select [EM-227].

The PS3 will ask for a passkey. Enter [0000] then press "OK".

Now press O (the PS3 circle button) to get back to the previous menu.

Scroll to "Audio Device Settings".

Change the "Input Device" to [EM-227].

Note: "Input Device" is the microphone, how others will hear you speak.

By default, the "Output Device" will now switch to [EM-227].

Note: "Output Device" is the audio, how you will hear the PS3 audio and others speaking.

If you would like to hear the PS3 audio and others speaking through your TV or Audio System, scroll to "Output Device" and switch to "System Default Device". If you would like to hear sound through the [EM-227] headset, then leave the "Output Device" setting on [EM-227].

To test your connection, speak into the headset and you will see the bars above the "Microphone Level" moving. If not, repeat the pairing process.

Press "OK" to confirm the new settings. You are now ready to use the [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset with your PS3 Entertainment System.

For further assistance with Bluetooth settings on your PS3 please refer to your PS3 instruction manual.

How to connect two psps together

To play any multiplayer game on a Sony PSP with only one copy of a game, do the following: Place the game into the 1st PSP. Start the game. Start a Multiplayer Ad-Hoc game. (Set the time to unlimited because moving the game between the units takes a while.) Get everything ready, settings ect., except do not enter the game. Now remove the game from the unit. A message will appear asking whether you want to exit the game, say NO! The game should go back to the setting screen, where it is waiting for you to press start. (Don’t press start yet on PSP #1) Now take the game and place it into the 2nd PSP. Start the game. Now go to Ad-Hoc games and find the server that the other PSP has already started. Once you find the game enter it after choose your personal settings. Once the game is done loading on PSP #2 take it out and put it back into unit #1. And press start and it should load into the game! And now you are playing each other on two PSPs with only one copy of the game. And if you want to, you can do this with up to as many units as you wish. As long as the game supports that many players. This works great, but I bet you Sony doesn’t like it. Also to be on the safe side I removed my memorystick to prevent any possible data loss if the unit freezes. Also when you want to exit the game it might freeze. And even trying to power off the unit might not work. To solve this problem just place the game into the frozen PSP and it will do some loading and then resume normally. Any more questions? Then make a comment and I will help you if I can.Update: There have been many comments saying that this does not work, but I tested it with Twisted Metal, Need for Speed, Tony Hawk, and a few others and they worked fine. I have made changes to the instructions above. If these still do not work as of (06/20/05) please post a comment below. Thank You! Update: I tested them multiple times, but I actually found that it is working perfectly on the PSPs with FirmWare v1.50. But when I tried it with PSPs with FirmWare v1.52 it couldn’t connect both of the PSPs together. I have not tried v1.51 so please make a comment u have tried it with it. (07/08/05) Update: (07/27/05) First I would like to say that the my Multiplayer PSP hack does in fact work with v1.52! There needs to be a few changes made to the procedure and it will work just fine! I am going to be posting the new set of instructions soon so check the main page of my blog. Also Sony announced some new FirmWare Updates for the PSP v2.0, which will work with Sonic Stage 3.2! – link NEW – I’ve just created a new video that goes over this procedure. It is only a few minutes long and also has directions in the video. I have also re-written the instructions above for PSPs with new firmware so check out by clicking here: PSP Multiplayer Hack Video

How do you turn the bluetooth on on a ps3 cause i cant get my bluetooth headset to pair

Turn on your Playstation 3, and from the main menu go to Settings - Accessory Settings - Register Bluetooth Device
You will be presented with two options:
Register BD Remote Control
Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones

Select Register Headset... and put your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode. On your PS3 select Start Scanning
Select your device and enter your pairing code. In most cases for audio devices the default pairing code is "0000"
Now on your PS3, go to Audio Device Settings and change your "Input Device" and "Output Device" to your Bluetooth headset name. Try speaking and watch your "Mic Level" move!

This might help you as well:)

Connecting bluetooth headset to ps3

You have to do 2 things in order to use a bluetooth headset on your ps3. First you have to pair it with the ps3. To do this you go to your setting and register the bluetooth device. Make sure your bluetooth device is in pairing mode when you do this. On most headsets you can simply hold down the button until the light comes on a solid color. once it is in pairing mode you will have to scan for new devices. Once this is done you should see the headset on the list. Choose it and enter your pairing code. If you have not set one it will most likely be 0000. Once it is it paired you will have to change your audio output and input. Go to audio device settings and change the input and output device to your headset name. Enjoy!
