49.XXXXX ERROR To continue turn off

then on

A critical firmware error has occurred.1. Turn the device off, and then turn the

device on.

2. Go to www.hp.com/support/

LJM3027mfp or www.hp.com/support/

LJM3035mfp to check the latest

firmware image version. If the latest

firmware image version is newer than

the one installed on the device, upgrade

the device.

3. Try printing a job from a different

software program. If the job prints, go

back to the first program and try printing

a different file. If the message appears

only with a certain software program or

print job, then the error is in the software

program and not in the device. If the job

fails to print using a different software

program, then turn off the device and

disconnect all cables that connect the

device to the network or to a computer.

4. Remove any DIMMs and EIO cards, and

then turn the device on.

the device behaves normally, turn off

the device and reinstall DIMMs and EIO

cards one-by-one, turning off the device

off and then on again each time you

reinstall a DIMM or EIO card. If a certain

DIMM or EIO card causes the message

to reappear, replace the DIMM or EIO

card.

6. Reconnect all cables that connect the

device to the network or to a computer.

7. If the message persists, replace the
formatter (see Formatter on page 116).

Windows Vista: How to roll back a driver

Device drivers are often updated to add functionality or increase performance. Usually, installing the newest driver is a good thing, but sometimes there is a bug in the driver software, or the new driver is incompatible with your system, and you'll want to go back to the previous version. Windows saves a copy of the old driver, so you can easily "roll back" to the version that you know works.

To roll back a driver in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

A. Click the Vista orb to open the Start menu.

B. In the Search bar, type "device" and then click Device Manager in the list of results.

C. Click Continue when the User Account Control window pops up.

D. In the Device Manager, click on the plus sign (+) next to the appropriate category, and double click on the device that needs its driver rolled back.

E. Go to the Driver tab, and click the Roll Back Driver button.

F. Follow the system prompts.

If the Roll Back Driver button is grayed out, that means there is no previous version of the driver to roll back to. You can visit the device manufacturer's web page and try to find an older version of the driver there.

It's important to note that rolling back a driver installs whichever version of the driver you had loaded on your system, not the second most recent version. So if you had version 1.0 installed for your wireless keyboard, then you updated to version 3.4, rolling back your driver would reinstall version 1.0, no matter how many versions had been released between the two.

It happens when the device doesn't recognize the maps. That's why - in such a case - you have to downgrade the version of the maps.

I need a diagnostic tool for RAID falure code 0. Initial boot indicates degraded condition. DISK scan does not seem to remedy the issue. Did the drive actuually fail? Is there a fix? Primary disk still...

It looks like you have two arrays here. The first one being a mirrored RAID array and has only one disk. This means that the other disk has failed in some sort. This does not mean that the drive is bad, just the RAID failed for some reason. You will need to rebuild the RAID if you want to maintain the same level of redundancy.

You can just attempt a rebuild the RAID to the same drives but if this fails you will want to replace the bad drive. In order to do this you will need to make sure you can tell which drive is which. You do not want to mirror the bad drive to the good one.

If attempting a rebuild to the existing drive does not work or is not an option (because the failed drive could really be bad), you will need to determine which physical drive needs to be replaced. You may be able to hot-swap the drive but if you can power things down, that is always safest. Once the new drive is installed, you can rebuild to it and all should be well after that.

Blackberry Device Software 8300, Version 4.5

Try this one: First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.
