    First you have to determine if the watch is mechanical or has a quartz movement. Then I might be able to help.

Breitling watches are very sophisticated and if it will not start work itsef (you have to wear it for a while), the only solution is watchmakers help.

Try putting it in a warm place (not very hot) for a day or so. An airing cupboard is a suitable place.

How do you wind my breitling watch to set
unscrew the crown anticlockwise until it pops out then turn it clockwise about 50 times. 
If the hand or date move, you pulled the pin too far. Push it back in and continue winding.
