this is caused by a failure of the fuser unit.
The fuser usually heats the paper to fuse the toner to the paper.

This error is a fuser malfunction. You will need to replace the fuser unit in order to get this running again. A fuser unit will run about $90 for a refurbished unit. You should check the manual for more error codes: Samsung SCX 5635FN Manual

Verify the fuser unit.The image dont fixing on paper.Is fusing unit problem.Verify the fuser heater lamp continuity,the thermistors and the spring at lower pressure roller.

there is problem with your fuser unit thermistor.. you will need some tech know how to remove the fuser unit and clean the thermistor.

If you turn on the printer in the correct voltage, you can call the Samsung and ask to warranty. Now if the printer is off warranty period, test the fuser lamp in the same voltage of the printer.
Take off the fuser, disassemble then take off the lamp and connect two wires in each terminal of the lamp (Fuser lamp works on the same voltage as the printer and is "AC").
Plug the two wires in the power energy. If the lamp is ON, OK!! If not new fuser is necessary.

Hy i had the same error message the error comes from the fuser unit , the halogen lamp is not heating , on the top of the fuser unit is a Thermostat in series with the halogen lamp wich u have to replace. Its not that easy if you dont have experince but it will solve the heat error. I hope this helped
