This code indicates a problem with the dryer's heating system. The code will appear when the heating circuits are broken or when there is an intermittent break in the power source for the dryer. If the heating circuits are working and the power source is steady, you may need to replace the central control board.

SOURCE: LG Gas dryer doesn't dry clothes in one cycle

Have you checked your outside vent while it was running to see if the dryer was venting 100%. If your clothes are hot and humid I would say clean your vent pipe has a blockage and needs to be cleaned out. Also as far as the burning smell you could take the front off (unplug first) the dryer of by removing 4 screws one above and one below the latch and two at the bottom and there are two clips one at the top left and right push in with a puddy knife and lift the top up a couple inches and lift the front up off the bottom holders. Then you will have access to vacuuming the lint that is floating around the burner.

SOURCE: Clothes do not get dry when using the sensor dry setting on GE dryer.

Ok, Jeff, I see you have a front loader, electric. On this model we have inlet thermistors, outlet thermistors, and the sensor bars are non serviceable, which means they are part of the blower housing. Not a big deal. Let's put it into a test mode and test the voltage drop of the sensors. They are on the inside of the drum just below the vent gate. 2 bars. Unplug the dryer for 30 seconds. Plug it back in and within 10 seconds press in this order: signal button, delay start, signal button again and delay start again. The consol should show t01. This is test 1. You want to turn the main dial clockwise until the test shows t09, this will be the sensor test. With the drum dry it should show around 5 volts DC. Now take a wet rag and place it over the bars, the display should show a voltage drop to around .5 or 1volt DC. If it does this the sensor is working properly. See if you can run this test successfully and post back. Catriver.

SOURCE: Maytag Atlantis MDG8400AWW Dryer Runs Cool

I had a similar problem years back. It was the ignitor. The ignitor is a ceramic like piece that heats up (glows red) that ignites the gas. Typically when that goes, you will see some white residue build up where it cracked, thus breaking the electrical connection. This thing works like a heating element on an electric stove, but rougher looking.

The part was about $30 at my local parts store. I bought an extra one just in case so I have it on hand. I installed it with common tools.

You can check it to see if you lost connection by using a volt meter.

Good luck.

most of the problems associated with this problem are caused by lint being in vent tube to outside and restricting the air flow. clean out vent tube, from dryer to outside. this should help. repost if need be. good-day ! if you have too. clean out bottom of drier with a vacuum. around the fan and where theres lint trapped.

Mayteg model DE313 clothes dryer that stopped drying clothes.

That is a very accurate assessment of the problem. Check the element for continuity between its two contacts. If there is none, replace it. If there is, look for a fuse on the side with two wires going to it. Test it for continuity. If there is none, replace it.

Gas dryer not drying clothes

Hi, Dryers are simple machines to fix yourself so the main reasons dryers do not dry cloths is listed below.
1. Make sure the vent is clear from obstruction of lint built up by taking off vent and make sure the vent flap is opening when dryer is on, beware most house fires are caused by neglect of dryer vent!
2. People allot of times overload machine which causes cloths not to dry.
3. Electrical Repair Needed: one of the thermostats in the dryer are defective

Rust spots showing up on the clothes?

Give the clothes more drying time and then remove them as soon as the dryer stops. Over the years, dryers get chipped inside and if damp clothing is allowed to lay on the chipped areas, rust spots will appear.
Also, If you have a lot of iron deposits in your water, you might want to put a filter in your line into your washer.

Strange yellowish circle appearing on white shirts

i believe the stains are actually semi burn marks. If you are drying your whites try a lower heat setting. i had this problem with my kenmore dryer before too. Got bad especially with towels. Make sure your vent is not clogged and your filter is cleaned regularly to let the heat flow better. should help.
