Power light comes on and blinks. the blades don't engage
I have used mine prob an approximation of 3 hours in total. I know how to hook it up and use it properly. But it isn't even getting power. I have tried attaching the little container and the large. I am not even getting a blinking light. My mother has had the same blender for over 40 years. So why the heck does these real expensive ones break so easily.
Same thing happened to me and I ONLY used the thing 2xs (I was about to go H.A.M aka hard as a muthaF'er considering the price) then I tried the smaller cup size and it worked then went back to the larger pitcher and tried again. You have to ensure you have all the lock spots aligned and the top of the pitcher down securely. It worked after that...I also smelled like I was burning rubber at first but it works now...

Make sure the blade assembly is put together in the correct order. The blade needs to go through the gasket so that the order is pitcher glass, gasket, and metal blade base. Then the final plastic cap threaded onto the pitcher. If the gasket is not between the pitcher and the metal blade assembly, you will have leaks.
Also, check the gasket to be sure it's not cracked and that it doesn't have residue on it.
I hope this helps. If it does, please come back and rate my suggestion!

Put the lid on so the arrows meet up. There is a arrow on the lid and handle put them to gather and blend!
SOURCE: Blades on ninja blender won't spin, but motor seems to be working.
I don't have one, but inspect the shaft, it looks like there is a key on the shaft, then inspect the inside of the blade where it goes on top of the shaft, see if it looks like the shaft has spun out the blade and this is why it's not spinning.
Remove the blade and the container, then turn on and see if the shaft is spinning, it should be most are a direct drive.
So now if the shaft is spinning, that most likely means that the blade hole is broke where it sets on top of the shaft.
Look closely at the inside of the blade, you should see some type of damage like the groves are worn, I hate to see you buy one and it was the shaft that wore, but usually the blade will go first.
