Getting Error code IF on my Blomberg DWT34240 dishwasher. What does the code mean? Can I fix the problem myself?
My problem was related to the `IF` `88` `IF` code when starting the washer.
This is a code related to the drain / pump sensor. I managed to fix this by starting the washer with the > button pressed while powering on and would see `SF` light up on the screen. I then filled the inside of the washer with a cleaner (I used CLR) to clean the sensor off and filled the dishwasher up with a few cups of water.
I closed the door with the SF light still lit, and the drain started manually - this drained the CLR into the system. I left it for about 30 minutes, and opened the door, and repeated the process. Filling CLR, filling the dishwasher with a few more cups of water and closing the door again.
This cleaned the sensor off enough to allow for operation. You will know the sensor is clean enough when running through this process as the 3 beeps (similar to end of cycle) will be audible.
Best of luck, and I hope this works for you!!
Hi, same dishwasher here, same error code. Did you or anyone find out more about this?
Thanks!!

f7 means lack of water. It could be caused from dirty (internal) filter or chocked water pipe

Miele tech's say this is a "Flow Meter" problem, which could involve their service department.
