Keypad on nokia 6300 has stopped working

my nokia 6300 has fall down in water then i switched off and on continuously at starting keypad worked then keypad stopped working after some time

normal security code when you get a cellular phone which is 0000 so at least I had

the default is 12345 if you have forgotten it you need to have it reflashed at a nokia care point

There is not much you can do when a phone has water damage. You will need to contact your service provider for replacement options!

Solution 1.Any time your phones gets wet or by accident the phone falls off in a pool of water the best remedy is to take the batteries off immediately, don't turn the power key on, and wait for 24 hours for the phone to dry out completely.



Solution 2. Alternate solution is go to settings,select call,select anykey answer, this way u won't need the answer key any more,


Solution 3. Change the keypad,go to the nokia service center.

Your phone may need a firmware flush. Please take your phone to the dealer so they can flush the firmware and install newer firmware.

i think after all that you should replaced the mainboard

good morning ! the problem of your 6233 nokia is keypad main brain or keypad crystal ic ,,,,try to clean the keypad mainbrain or replace the keypad ic ! thanks ! good luck ! ......

well its posted for a 6300 nokia , right, i think the keypad ic must have faulted , only if u have dropped the phone or exposure to liquids, take it to some nearby local nokia service centre or near by phone shop and get it repaired for the keypad ic problem.

one unique troubleshooting , if it works see if u can get it solved by removing the memory card, sometimes faulty memory card does produce such problems

also it could be due to uneven powersupply from battery try with a genuine battery or a good battery.

if all of the above doesnt work then only alternative is to get the keypad ic changed.
