Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2055 laptop power on problem

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2055 laptop. I have a V2055 that won't power on. It switched off one night and won't switch back on. Battery is good and charge light works when connected to the power pack but nothing happens when you press 'on'.
If you hold the button down, the green power light flashes and there is a quiet ticking sound from inside the laptop. Any ideas??

Thanks for the reply but no, it's not the ram. Further investigation points to a dead motherboard.

The beep codes indicate the battery is discharged - and needs to be recharged. A manual can be downloaded at http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/rl/servicesupport/techsupport/LIFEBOOK/AMILO/AMILO-Pro/Downloads/a26391-k183-z121-en.pdf

Replace motherboard

Hello, its most likely the power jack burned out which is cheaper than putting in a new motherboard by a long shot. I do those repairs all day long for about $90. Hope this helps.

I have had to rebuild my Fujitsu Amilo Pro V2055 from scratch. I cannot get onto the internet even when wireless button is showing ready. I cannot get to the screen that tells me what the available...

Did you reinstall all drivers from the recovery CD? Windows should have detected the wireless card and installed the software for it and notify you automatically of nearby networks without any further software being installed.
