I wanted some lectures in the audiobook so they wouldn't be mixed up with the songs. I converted what I wanted to audiobooks in I tune and then transferred to the Clip. As I said, it's all there if you look at the folders when the clip is connected to my computer. As soon as I disconnect, the only options are Music, FM Radio, Slot Radio, Voice and Settings. No Audiobooks at all. Originally this did show up as a choice. Where is it hiding?

Instead of dragging the audiobooks to the "music" folder, drag them to the "audible" folder - this player only gives full functionality for audiobooks if you are using the Audible audiobook svc. Otherwise it will play the audiobook as one long mp3 file swithout proper chapter breaks, etc.

Maybe the new firmware will fix this.
"OGG placed in Audiobook or podcast folder shows up in Music directory." (see below)

It does not support Audible. I have funny insider information on this - Philips originally planned to make it Audible compatible, and even added an Audible folder. In the end, they didn't seal the deal and sent out players that were not compatible with audible, but have an Audible folder in them. LOL.
A workaround is to download audiobook files in mp3-only format. You won't be able to use them like an audiobook, but they will be available for lsiten.
