My refrigerator is a kenmore 24, model 363.9524780.
This problem started two days ago, the temperature inside the refrigerator hardly goes under 55. (I have set the controls to the colder in the fridge and close to colder in the freezer) . The freezer temp is close to 10. Doors closure are ok and are not openned many times. Frezzer apparently works fine, air flows to the fresh food comfpartment (fridge) normally. Motor cond fan stops at times and compresor gets very hot, It also gets hot at touch to the front of the fridge divider wall (Freezer/Fridge) at the front by the doors (inside wall condensor tubing/loop ?).
All outside bottom parts have been cleaned (condersor, grills, etc).
The Ice Maker/Water Dispenser is disconected (no water supply).
What can you recommend ?
If the refrigerator cooling is poor, it may be a problem with the thermostat, the compressor, or the evaporator fan. If ice is accumulating at the back of the fridge, that can also be a reason for poor cooling.

There will be a pair of round 'twist' adjusters mounted somewhere inside the refrigerator. Some are mounted high, on the panel where the flexible door seal sits when the door is closed. Others are mounted on a side panel inside the actual refrigerator. Generally these will be set to the middle position.
*NOTE* If the refrigerator/freezer is full of food it will struggle to get to temperature. It needs to be Empty with the power On for at least 24 hours to get to it's working temperature range.
There are two temperature sensors (one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer). The refrigerator sensor is near the front of the compartment on the right side below the door switch and above the slides for the drawers. The freezer's refrigerator temperature sensor is on the left near the top of the compartment. See the two liner diagrams on the page linked below. To change the temperature, press and hold the Temperature button on the LCD panel for 3 seconds. The display should read the current temperature set point and Refrigerator. Use the Acceler-Ice button to lower the temperature in the fridge. Press the Lock button to raise the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Press Temperature again to see the Freezer set-point and adjust it as above. Note: the temperature in each part of the unit depends on air circulating from the freezer into the refrigerator. Make sure that the vents aren't blocked. Wait 24 hours after adjusting the temperature set points for the unit to reach equilibrium before deciding if the set point should be adjusted further.
You mean "How to Fix a Kenmore Refrigerator That Is Not Cold But the Freezer Is Good?"
Well this what i say,
Kenmore combination refrigerator and freezers combine the short- and long-term food storage options in a single unit. There are some occasions when the refrigerator compartment might appear to be malfunctioning while the freezer box stays cool. Ruling out these occasions ensures you have done everything you can to correct the problem before calling for a technician if necessary.
1.Verify that the temperature controls for the refrigerator compartment are properly configured. Tap the "^" or "v" buttons beside the refrigerator's LCD temperature display until "38," the ideal temperature, appears. The compartment could have been set too warm. Allow 24 hours for the the appliance to reach 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
2 Check that the refrigerator compartment door closes completely, objects inside the appliance could be holding the door ajar. When cool air is allowed to escape, the internal temperature rises. Cracked, holed or corroded door seals may also raise the refrigerator temperature.
3 Change how you use the refrigerator compartment; storing hot or warm food strains the appliance and causes a rise in internal temperatures. Do not prop open the door or leave it ajar for more than a few seconds at a time for the reasons outlined in Step 2.
4 Contact Kenmore if the refrigerator compartment remains too warm for your food. There may be a problem with the motor or any one of the other parts that regulate the temperature

Take out all shelves and accessories that can be removed. Wash these thoroughly with a mild detergent (dish washing liquid and warm water) and rinse thoroughly. Allow them to air dry completely. * Wipe the inside walls of the refrigerator and freezer down completely with a solution of 1 quart warm water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Wipe the walls completely dry. * Leave the doors standing wide open. Use a fan to circulate air through the cabinets for several hours to completely dry the inside walls. After several hours, turn the fan off. * Replace the shelves in the refrigerator. Place shallow trays of one of the following deodorizers on the shelves of the refrigerator and freezer: o Baking soda o Activated carbon (used in aquarium filters, can be obtained at a pet store) o Cat litter o Fresh and unused coffee grounds (this may leave a coffee smell that would dissipate after several days) * After 24 hours, plug in the refrigerator and allow it to cool for several hours with the deodorizer still in place. Once cooled to normal operating temperature, remove the trays of deodorizer and put your food back into the refrigerator and freezer. * Keep some cereal size bowls of a deodorizer in the freezer and refrigerator cabinets for several days
I also have the same refrigerator model 106.56566400 and periodically when the power goes off in the house the refrigerator & freezer will stop cooling. Try pushing the on/off button located inside the refrigerator to the left of the digital temperature controls. Hold the button down, this turns the unit off, then press it again to turn it back on. This basically resets the refrigerator, and most of the time works to get the refrigerator cooling again. Try this first before calling a repair man.
why is inside the fridge hot instead of cool
