Hello schlucks
welcome to fixya.
You said, Your AMANA refridgerator water dispenser not working. Freezer door not closed properly last night.
When the door to the freezer was left open all night, the moisture from outside caused the water line to the water dispenser to freeze!
What you need to do is to move all the articles from your freezer to a spare or second freezer
temporarily.
Then turn off the freezer compartment of the first unit where the water is not depensing .
you will need 12 to 24 hours untill the line defrosts.
If the dispenser works sooner then don't wait any longer to restart the freezer.
In some models, the fact that the freezer is turned off may affect the power in the dispenser untill the freezer is turned back on.
After you finish defrosting and turn the freezer back on. give it 24 hours to get back to running temperture.
Then reload the articles agin.
BUT DO NOT TAKE 20 TRIPS TO BRING THE PACK AGES AND LOAD IT, LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN AGAIN!
Bring the articles to the freezer and load it straight awy quickly and close the door.
This will solve your problembarring any damage to the dispenser!t
Thank You for having me advice you.

cold air to the bin and make it colder.
Water and Ice Dispensers
(on some models)
Depending on your model, you may have one or more of the
following options: the ability to select either crushed or cubed
ice, a special light that turns on when you use the dispenser, or a
lock option to avoid unintentional dispensing.
NOTES:
■ The dispensing system will not operate when the freezer door
is open.
■ After connecting the refrigerator to a water source, flush the
water system. Use a sturdy container to depress and hold the
water dispenser lever for 5 seconds, then release it for
5 seconds. Repeat until water begins to flow. Once water
begins to flow, continue depressing and releasing the
dispenser lever (5 seconds on, 5 seconds off) for an
additional 2 minutes. This will flush air from the filter and
water dispensing system. Additional flushing may be required
in some households. As air is cleared from the system, water
may spurt out of the dispenser.
■ Allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool down and chill
water.
■ Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the
first three batches of ice produced.
