Neff Oven I have a Neff Oven, both ovens worked fine, then the bottom oven light blew, so I changed the bulb and all of a sudden a loud "POP" sound happened, and both ovens went dead. I went to the fuse box and it had tripped out the circuit, so I pushed the switch up and turned on the ovens. The top oven was working fine, but the bottom oven wasn't, also the digital display i.e. clock and any lights for the bottom oven do not work. What is the problem?

It appears that the timer has gone faulty, possibly because of a short in the bulb holder, which probably explains why there is no display and the main oven not working. the top will still work as it is not controlled by the timer.
the solution hear would to be fit a new timer.

Had the same problem. Read that controller board needed replaced. 200 plus vat plus fitting. Decided to strip down and remove controller. split the circuit board off and discovered a number of blown tracks, Managed to solder copper wire across pins, reassemble and working fine. Probably saved me a new oven

Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Have had 4 Neff oven elements in 2 years, why does this keep happening ? B14241 single oven element keeps blowing, grill and light are fine, any ideas please ? is it time for a new oven ?

If you are not fitting genuine
elements, this is probably the reason they are failing so quickly.
You will pay a lot more for the genuine article, but they will last a lot longer.
Also make sure the fan is working o/k, as this can cause premature element failure.
please rate my solution.
Thanks.

U1721 Strange Problem

could be a clock fault - try bypassing the auto function on clock.
otherwise, check the terminal block where mains is connected. these quite commonly burn out
