I purchased mine new many years ago. This year (2012) it would not dance, but will sing. I disassembled it but could not find what was wrong with it. All the internal gears seem to work fine. Nothing loosethat is obvious. Has anyone been able to fix a similar problem?

If you look in the chect cavity there will be a very small pulley, I used an elastic that you usually get with braces for teeth and put it from the pulley to the small wheel next to it and he started dancing fine
Mine doesnt move or sing but I can hear a noise when I plug it in like its going to work
