No Power After a wash cycle, my machine will suddenly loose power. Entire machine will go dark and nothing will work. I plug it in to a new outlet plug and then it works fine. But after a wash cycle again, no power. I can plug it back into the original outlet and it would work again. Sometimes there is a spark when I try to plug it into a different outlet. Machine is several years old.

SOURCE: I have an LG WM0642HW washer. After a wash cycle

sounds like a loose connection either going to the main control board or a break in your power cord or the main harness has a fault in one of the connection locations to the main control the control is located under the upper control area this is also the schematic for your machine showing how to access the control area http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/K0810327-00001.png this repair will require you to break out the multimeter if you are unable to visually see any misconnection I await your reply for any further questions Thanks Rick
p.s there is also a relay located on the power board and if you dont find any issue with the wiring it may just be the relay that is hooked on to the main control board as well. I await your reply

SOURCE: Washer will not power on

There is likely a loose connection between the line interference filter and the power plug or the main control board and the line interference filter. Unplug the machine then remove the screws securing the top panel or top panel bracket to the rear of the machine cabinet and slide the panel rearward and off. Check the connections in those areas mentioned and make they are all snug fit. You need to take the main control board cover off to access the connections.

Another possible reason is a broken power cord particularly near the plug. With the machine plugged in, measure the voltage right at the line interference filter terminals. The power cord is indeed broken and needs replacing if there's an intermittent voltage at the line filter terminals. The main control board has a LED power indicator that turns on when the machine is plugged in. The problem is in the main control board if there's always a voltage coming to it but the turns on intermittently.

Please indicate explicitly the exact model number of the machine should you need further advice. You don't have to accept or reject this post in order to add comment or information. But accepting the solution should you find it helpful and/or informative will not stop you from posting comments or additional information. You can still communicate with the expert should you need further advice.

Fisher and Paykel Top Loader washing machine model WA7060 suddenly won't turn on.

If you have already tried all the logical troubleshooting tips and the Fisher and Paykel Top Loader washing machine model WA7060 is still not turning on, there may be a few potential causes:
  1. Power supply issue: Check if the power outlet that the washing machine is connected to is working correctly. You can test the outlet with another appliance or device. If the outlet is not working, you may need to call an electrician to fix it.
  2. Control module or power board failure: If the power supply is not the issue, then there may be a problem with the control module or power board of the washing machine. In this case, it may need to be replaced or repaired by a qualified technician.
  3. Faulty power cord: The power cord may be damaged or faulty, causing the machine not to turn on. Check if the power cord is properly connected and if there are any signs of damage. If there are, replace the cord with a new one.
  4. Circuit breaker tripped: Check if the circuit breaker for the washing machine has tripped. If it has, reset the breaker and try turning the machine on again.
If you have already tried all these troubleshooting steps and the washing machine is still not turning on, it is best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue. They will have the tools and expertise to identify the root cause of the problem and recommend the best solution.

How to repair a short it a power cord on a front loading washing machine

have you checked the three places the power cord is bolted into the washing machine? if a nut is loose that could be causing the problem. If you have a shorted cable I would recommend buying a new cable they aren't that hazard!

Have a Dynex Wireless G Router I've used for some time now and suddenly can't get wireless connection. When working with it, I now cannot get a power light. When I unplug and plug back in to the power...

Did you try and wiggle the plug, at the unit, if the lights flash its a bad connection.

Check the power supply, as it first turns on, then check it after it powers down, if you have the same dc v then the power pack is bad.

But it sounds like the router is going bad, so the only thing you rally can do, depending on where you bought it and how old it is.

Say its only a few months old, and you got it from walmart, try and return it.

Contact the MFG through there website and find out if they will take
care of the problem, if any charges need to be paid, and the cost of shipping, put this all together and see if its just better to go buy a 50.00
new one.

I hope you get this resolved, and if any other questions just ask.

Washer gets no power

are you sure the outlet has power? make certain by plugging in a lamp or something else to the outlet first. the timer does have to get power to turn on the unit, but its not likely it is the problem.
try a different cycle and see if it wont run on any position. like fill, wash or spin. then if your outlet is ok, it could be the timer.
i dont think it is but it could happen. usually if the timer fails, it will work on some cycles but not all of them. if it wont work on any cycle then i would expect the outlet first.

I have an older Maytag washer model number LAT5000AAW which up until now has worked great.  Went to do a load of laundry this morning but it won't work.  It won't even fill up with water.  Please help!!...

First...check to see if the machine has power.  Plug a lamp into the outlet.  Move the machine through all cycles.  Something ought to work.  If still nothing...suspect the timer.
