My mother board gives 3 bips when memory is out of socket (as normal) but it has no display when I am putting the ram. I had tried two three ram but same result. What to do.
Tried much of the above, with no results. I finally gave in and ordered Micron memory, which worked great. I returned the cheaper memory to the seller. I never had problems with Micron memory, and it turns out the same happened when I tried using cheaper parts. I resorted to installing Micron. I am sure other brands will work too, but Micron is a known entity. I am in no way affiliated with Micron, just a customer.
In this position pl. chack 2.5v for ddr ram (replace f 73xx 8 pin smd near ram sockett)
thanks

Try ramsticks individually (one at a time) in each of the memory banks until you get a post on the screen. if you don't get a post, then the memory might be parity and the board needs non-parity ***or vice versa***. Also, find the jumper on the motherboard for a bios reset, and reset the bios, then perform the previously stated memory tests.

Same problem when I tried to upgrade my RAM from 256M to 512M in each slot. In the past, had the same problem upgrading 128 to 256. Turns out, the only RAM I can get to work on this board is Micron (I am in no way affiliated with Micron). But I have tried several others and the same 3 beeps. Apparently the timing or timing info on the DIMM is not of high enough quality with the cheaper RAM. I'm sure other brands might work, but I have only had success with Micron. Be careful when you upograde RAM on this board that you verify it is compatible, That chipset seems particular which RAM it likes.
