Yes you can just make sure that the power cord has the CORRECT pin polarity- you can order the 12 volt cigarette lighter style cord from Meade. http://www.meade.com/support/index.html
Very doubtful you will find this part. Meade does not support this telescope anymore. It may be possible to find a used one on Astromart.com by placing a WANT AD-- it will cost you $12 to register and place the ad.
I believe the 114eq-dh is equivalent to the model 4504,
