If your capacitor is shorted that could very well be it.

Let me check service matters and see if their is a probo with these vertical modular washers:

Their is nothing about throwing the breaker, they make mention of broken lid switches and a bad counter weight which has been replaced by another component. Might be worth ******* about to your local appliance provider. If the cap turns out to be fine look for objects between tubs or a jammed water pump maybe.

make sure that it is plugged in all the way and check your 220 breaker in your homes main breaker. turn the breaker off and then on again.

My washer keeps popping new circuit
You havent given details when the breaker pops. Is it right away, in wash cycle, spin cycle or drain? If it pops right away, there has to be a short circuit, but it fills water up then as soon as the motor starts n it pops, it could be motor. If blows during spin, definately motor drawing too much current. Then it could be the breaker that is weak/faulty. The breaker if not faulty it will pop if the current drawn by the motor exceeds it's rating or there is a short.

You are tripping that outlet's breaker. Either too much is on that breaker and circuit or that circuit is not big enough, enough current to power that unit.

This is a vertical modular washer.
If you have items stuck between tubs or something in the pump that could possibly be the problem. The washer is fairly new to the market . Use the service manual I provided to diagnose the problem and report back to me would you? It could be helpful to a bunch of folk.

Is the door switch made? If not that could very well be your problem, possibly broken where door strikes it.

I have a crosley cw5500w top load washer, it is filling very slowly despite adequate water pressure. Is there an inline filter that could be clogged?
Yes their are inlet filter screens where the fill hoses hook up to the washer if you shut off the water at the wall and remove the hoses at the unit and look and you will see them carefully pop them out and clean,,,And you will be back in operation

I have the Crosley cfw8000gr front load washer and dryer. The washer stops when its ready to drain and the letters on the dislay say OE. I have cleaned all of the filters and hoses however it still stops...
Open the small door on the front of the machine and take out the strainer for the pump i think you have something stuck in the pump also be carefull when you put the strainer back it is kind off tricky to line up.

Crosley Electric dryer stopped in mid cycle and will not start
if the machine is completly dead an not doing anything locate your fuse panel ,check your fuses for the dryer ,if you can find wich one is it reset the breakers again you probably popped one of the 2 lines since you need 2 for a 220v.
