SOURCE: My Magic Bullet has broken. I need to know how to get it fix.

This happened to me, and I was told by the company that I had to purchase a brand new base, that the plastic turning device can not be repaired. If it is under warranty, you may not have to pay anything but shipping, and maybe not that either. If you do not have the number to the company, go on-line and and search for it. Call the company and report what the problem is.

SOURCE: Magic Bullet Blender Repair

I had same thing happen to me, except that mine was 3 yrs. old. (If Cindy's was received xmas '08, it is in warranty.) But for those whose are not, I contacted the manufacturer and was told that there was no replacement part, (the clear plastic center disc on top of base,) but they offered a new base for $19.99, including shipping. I gladly purchased it, because I had searched for one on ebay, and the only 2 displayed were used, and much more than this; $35-40.00, with shipping. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: my plastic

So, rather than pay for an entire new motor and wait for two weeks forthem to get it to me, I just made a new gear/broken thing. I crazyglued the old piece back together again and used it to make a plastermold...like the way people do with their kid's hands. Then I filledthe mold with JB Weld and let it dry. After that, I drilled a hole inthe new JB weld gear so that it would fit over the metal part in thebullet(that actually spins).

Glued it on (with more jb weld) and the thing has been making my smoothies and grinding my coffee with no more issues.

Sounds complicated, but it wasn't too bad. Funny thing is, the newpiece is probably heaps stronger than the cheap plastic thing thatbroke in the first place.

Do it yourself,
I'm tired of made-to-break products and could make anyone else one of these things for around 10 bucks!

SOURCE: The magic bullet lid rubber ring has broken. Can I

When you received the bullet it should have come with extra rings. If not you can probably get more on ebay.

SOURCE: my magic bullet stops rotating

The Magic Bullet power base is designed with HIGH TORQUE MOTORS and it is NOT TO BE USED FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE PER USE.Otherwise its gonna last a long time. You need to buy a new one or a refurbished one. Search google with keywords "amazon magic bullet power base".

Magic bullet base is full of particles

Yes its easy to take the Magic Bullet apart.

1. First pry out the 4 black rubber feet on the base with small screwdriver and unscrew the 4 cross head screws revealed below.

2. Remove this black base to reveal the inner black base Unscrew the cable clamp - 2 screws and the 3 screws that retain the remaining black base to the body of the bullet - slide it off over the power cable.

3. Turn the bullet the proper way up and pry out the 3 white rubber bumpers with a screw driver blade that are set inside for the cup to rest on - each is located with two rubber pins. Once all 3 are removed you will reveal 3 more cross head screws - these countersunk - remove all 3 and then the internal motor will be free to lift out through the top of the Bullet casing.

4. Its possible to slip out the 3 white plastic sliders - taking care to note how they seat each on a small spring to cleanup both the slides and the sliders.

To re assemble step by step in reverse - noting to align the motor cable with the cutouts on the bullet base.

Can you replace a melted cord

I posted the reply pasted below on how to take the Bullet apart - really not difficult once you know where the hidden screws are apart. Once apart it easy to see where the power cable terminates and should be easily possible to connect in a new cable in its place.

I think my magic bullet over heated and now it won't work. I could smell burning plastic and now when I try to use it, it won't blend. Any suggestions. I hate to buy a new one because I don't need all...
