Question about Pulsar Chronograph Watch

Open Question

Cannot change any digital functions on Pulsar Y951-5009 watch. Replaced the battery and can set the time with the crown but that's it. The digital date in the upper right hand corner says SU 1 and in the lower right hand corner the digital time is stuck at 12:00:07. I do not have a manual for this watch.

SOURCE: Date changes at 1:00 instead of 12:00.

Many mechanical watches take several hours for the date change to occur. You might see it start at 11pm and finish as late as 3pm. This is not a defect but simply a characteristic of the mechanical movement. BTW, never adjust the date between 7pm and 2am as doing so can damage the movement.

SOURCE: Day date changes midday 12:00 PM, not midnight

Your watch thinks your noon is midnight.

Wind the hands forward 12 hours and the date change will be at midnight. You will have to re-set the date if it gains a day when doing this.

Click on the crown (the stem in the middle on the right side). There are three settings, and one of them will change the minute hands' behavior to normal. You might also check out this guide:

Look can someone help me set the digital time on my watch please its omega seamaster polaris cheers....

Your watch uses a calibre 1665 movement. You might contact After Sales Service and ask them if they would send you an owners manual. Setting the time and date is fairly straight forward but you also need to sync the analog and digital displays so it is a bit difficult to describe in just a few words.

The basic guideline is
To select function - turn the crown
To change function - pull out the crown and then turn it
To start and stop functions - press the crown

I can't pull out the stem on my Pulsar watch to set the time. Any suggestions.

Because your timepiece is water resistant to 100m, you may have to unscrew the crown before pulling it out to set the time.

Manuel for yacht timer 700 please. Best regards P.Hessner

Could not find a download for instructions on this watch, but I did manage to find some basic instructions for the Sector brand. I hope this helps as this is the best I can come up with.
Good luck.
Sector Chronograph Watch Instructions
  • Most chronograph watches have screw-down crowns for water resistance. You must unscrew the watch crown before you can make any changes to the watch time. After time is set screw the crown back in. To utilize the chronograph dials, use the buttons on the side of the watch. One button will be for the second timer. Press once for the second hand to start timing. Press again to stop it. Another button will be to reset the second hand timer back to zero. Sector Chronograph watches may have different dial functions (see link in References).
  • Sector Dual-Time Watch Instructions
  • Because Sector watches are known for their sports capabilities, the Dual-Time watches have screw-down crowns. For Dual-Time timepieces, unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Pull the crown to middle position to set the date. Pull the crown out to its fully extended position and rotate it to set the day of the week, hour and time. Press and hold in the crown and turn clockwise to seal the crown back in to the watch.
  • Sector Ana-Digi Watch Instructions
  • Sector Ana-Digi timepieces have analog hands plus digital timekeeping functionality. To set the time, unscrew the crown counterclockwise and then clockwise to the appropriate time. The digital functionalities are programmed by the buttons on the side of the case. Depending on the style of the Sector watch, you can set the digital time with one button, set the date display, 1/100 seconds chronograph timer, altimeter, thermometer and alarm functions.

Fix date n month on wrist watch

mcdevito75 here The stem has 2 positions, we all know the 1 to pull the stem out and set the time, day, date. try this, first go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get the month you need, now slip a fingernail just under the stem (crown) and gently lift to it"s first position, it may take a few times to get used to, when you have it turn the crown (stem) to change the date easily, change the date to 1 date before the date you want, now go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get to the date you need. Now the watch is set and will change on time at around mid--nite.

How do I set the Pulsar Alarm-Chronograph N944-6A00

Short answer: You download the Operational Guide from Pulsar:

http://www.pulsarwatches.com/home2.asp#FAQ (look for N944 which is PGC series).

Longer answer: It is baffling to do this without the manual. You put the watch in -0- mode (crown fully in), pull the crown out to first stop, then us the A and B buttons to zero the 1/10th and second hands, then pull the crown out to second stop, then use the A and B buttons to zero the minute and hour hands. Then, you put the watch in "Time" mode (crown fully in), pull the crown out to the second position, and use the A and B buttons to set the time. You have no functioning second hand except for the stopwatch - in Time mode it acts as the calendar hand.

Tag Multigraph: With the crown pushed in you turn the winder quickly a couple of times and the digital displays appear. Scroll through to the function you want then pull the crown out and turn it to change time/settings. The time can be changed either by pulling the crown out on the T setting (digital) or when no digital display is shown on the dial. If you turn the winder slowly the time/settings change very slowly, which is barely visible. If you flick the winder round very quickly the settings leap forward faster.
