I have husqvarna 136 that won't start. If you put gas in carb it will start but won't keep running.

Have changed spark plug, cleaned carb, checked fuel lines and added fresh fuel mixture.

replaced carb diaphram, the piece that pumps the fuel and unkinked feul line. Runs GREAT!

Check the fuel lines again. They have a habit of cracking and preventing fuel flow. One other item, there is likely a fuel filter in the tank attached to the fuel line. It may be clogged.

Replace the fuel filter in the tank, check the fuel hose up to the carb for signs of leaking, if so replace the line, between the cylinder and the carb back plate is a rubber induction tube, make sure this has no split.

Why is my chainsaw blowing gas out the carb?

If it is blowing an excessive amount of fuel while it is running then the cylinder has aprobably worn down and the tolerences are bigger than they should be therefore you are getting fuel back out the carb. If it is leaking while shut off then you have a needle not seating in the carb correctly

Husqvarna 223L won't start

I would first take the spark plug out and see if the tip is wet, it could very well be flooded.

second of all I'd try putting fuel directly into the carb (if this helps you'll most likely need a carb kit or maybe even a new carb)

My husqvarna 141 will not start??

Very unlikley to be an air lock, more likley to be a massive air leak, check the rubber induction tbe behind the carb mount it may have split, if not then a possible blown crank seal.

Toro Power Clear 418 ZE Snow Blower won't stay started

The main jet of your carb is clogged and you need to open carb and clear the obstruction - spray carb cleaner on the bolt that holds the gas container to bottom of carb - also spray all the innards along with any tube that protrudes into the gas can.

Then using air compressor blow the sucker out and reassemble. That should do it.

Poulan 446t Will start, won't continue to

The diaphragm in the carb is likely ruined from the gas gelling onto it. This will put pinholes in it and then it won't work properly. Pick up a carb kit and rebuild it (if parts available) and then you should be good to go. If you can't rebuild the carb, a replacement will run you 30 bucks or more.
