Sorry i dont have any wiring diagrams for the refrigerator, yet a thermister is a electronic thermostat. its basically a varible resister and it has a certain ohms rating at one specific tempature and the value of the ohms drops at it get hot and the ohms increase at it gets cooler so it works by telling the control board its 1100 ohms and the control will calulate that as being 72 degress f ....as the dryer heats it reports to the dryer its 500 ohms and can be determined that 500 ohms is 155 degrees and so on and so on. The basic way a thermister works is the same regardless if its used in a dryer or refrigerator or what not only difference at freezing temps its say to the control it's at 7000 ohms
I may not be exact on the ohms values yet that is how a thermister works
May God bless and keep you well,
