Hello,

With the water dispenser is dripping the cause of that drip is the water inlet valve...its not fully closing yet staying up a wee bit and water is seeping through it into the the dispenser. To repair it the water valve needs to be replaced.Its in the rear of the refrigerator and the unit needs to be pulled from the wall and remove the service panel that covers the compressor and such...the valve will be on the left side. The part number for that water valve is 67005154 it could be purchased at your local appliance partstore or online at; searspartsdirect.com apdepot.com partselect.com
apwagner.com repairclinic.com while behind the refrig. replacing that water valve be sure to also clean all the dust from the coil on the righ side of the compressor ( Clean that coil every 6 months as regular maintiance)

Water dispenser in not flowing as freely as before. What can I do?
There are only a few reasons your refrigerators water supply will cause this. Water drips from the water dispenser
Hi, If the water is dripping from the dispenser tube, you need a water valve. The valve is not shutting off completely. Check to make sure water is not dripping from ice chute. If the chute door doesn't seal off you will get moisture there and it will also frost up the ice chute.

Water dispenser drips how can I fix it?
There are two possibilities. The water control valve is leaking while off or the water has air bubbles in the supply line. If you just recently changed the water filter and the air has not been completely purged this will cause a drip until the air is out. The ice and water dispenser on my Amana Refrigerator slowly leaks water. Are there repair parts to correct this? And how is the plastic frame containing the dispenser removed from the door?
The problem is most likely not in the door. When the dispense button is pressed it actuates an electric solenoid valve in the rear of the refrigerator that opens and allows the water to flow. Over time the valve seals get worn and the water seeps by. This is what usually causes a drip at the water dispenser. If there is a drip at the ice side then the door is jammed and is not closing fully. This allows the ice at the opening to melt and drip. Hope this helps. Please accept and rate. Good luck.

water dispenser -Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.


ice maker - If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Side by side dripping
There are several reasons why the dispener would dip. Do you have a filter on the unit and have recently replaced it. Then run a large pitcher or water through the dispenser to make sure all the air is out of the line. Anorther thing that could be happening it the water valve is not sealing properly and causing the dispenser to drip, In which case the valve should be replaced. One other odd problem is if the water tank somehow is not even and you have a little air bubble in it. Just some thinks for you to look for, hope one solves it.
