Since I have never physically worked on a Indesit, I can only tell you what a normal washing machince diagnosis would be: Drain pump is not functioning. Possibly something clogging the intake (count you socks) or just stopped working.

My supplier does not have Indesit parts so can't give you the part number for the drain pump.

Thanks for the help Houston, however I replaced the drain pump this morning, and it seems as though there is no power going to it, though the rest of the machine is fully functioning!

Is that a manual turn dial switch. If so, you probably have a problem with it. When they roatate, they make the electrical connections to the 2 speed transmission and the drain pump at the same time. It could be a loose or broken wire between the switch and the drain pump.

Before the drain pump is replaced it is important that you confirm the pump voltage from the program controller unit at the time of DRAIN. If there is no voltage and since you have replaced with a new pump, the chances are that the controller unit is a suspect as there is no output. It can be a cconnection fault or a damaged driver.

How to check for blockage when washing machine wont pump water out

To determine if your pipes are blocked on your washing machine, when it will not pump out the water you can carry out a simple test. 1st remove the drain hose from your waste pipe or if connected to u bend on sink remove connection. Hold the pipe into a bowl as low to the ground as possible. If water flows from the pipe then your pipes on the machine are not blocked. If your connection is onto a u bend below your sink then before replacing pipe check u benb for blockage. If this fails then your problem is more sinnister and could be a number of reasons as to why your water cannot pump out.

Indesit wie 147 washing machine wont empty water it dose every think else but it got stuck and had an error of 5 with water stuck in drain some as looking at the preasure pipe blew down the pipe an no...

It really does sound like you have a blockage somewhere even if you cant feel it. You may need to remove the pump and the pipes to be certain. Try laying the drain pipe on floor level. If it drains then there is definately something in there that needs to be removed. Let me know if you need any more help.

Washer will not drain TB displayed on panel any suggestions

Check pump filter. I have had this twice on my indesit washing machine. You have to take the front cover off the bottom and then unscrew the filter to check it. Be careful as it will gush with water if the drum isn't drained.
Check the drain pipe for blockage by disconnecting far end of it and lowering to floor level (in a bowl). If no blockage then water should drain out of the drum by gravity.

A load of wash got "stuck" at 22 minutes left on the wash cycle. I turned off the machine. I turned it back on. Now the door is locked. How can I unlock the door and restart the machine?

Try starting a cycle and then cancelling it. Could also be problem draining. Check pump filter. I have had this twice on my indesit washing machine. My Whirlpool washing machine has failed to rinse and spin due to the 'clean pump' light being on. Any advice on how to clean the pump? Thank you.

Wixl123 does not drain after washing ?

Drainage problems can be caused by:
a) Blocked Filter chamber
b) Blocked Sump
c) Blocked Drain Pipe

d) Blocked waste pipe
e) Failed Pump

You can check the sump and drain pipe are not blocked by disconnecting the drain pipe from the undersink trap or waste pipe and lowering to a bowl on the floor. The water should drain out into this bowl under gravity if there are no blockages. Bear in mind if you have disconnected the drain pipe from an undersink pipe if youpour the drained water down the sink it will flood into your undersink cupboard. If this drains then you check the waste pipe or undersink trap is clear. You should also check the filter chamber if it is accessible on your washing machine (not all are). I would recommend you unplug the machine or take the fuse out of the switched socket before doing this. Drain the drum as above before doing this or you will get a gush of water coming out. You will usually have to remove a cover from the bottom of your machine to get to the filter chamber and twist it ant-clockwise to unscrew it. Check for any coins buttons etc trapped in there. If there is nothing there check the impeller will turn relatively easily by hand. If you still can't find the problem you might have a faield pump and I would recommend contacting an enginee

Indesit washer dryer 'omega 1200' WDG1295W won't drain!

Sounds like the pump is possibly faulty, or there is a blockage
There should be a removable plastic cover at the bottom front of the m/c, behind this you will see a round plastic cover.
This is the pump filter, unscreit and unblock it if it is full of ****!!!
Hopefully this should solve your problem.
Please leave feedback.
