Greetings, Our LG fridge, model lsc26905tt was working fine last week when hurricane Ike shut off the power for 3 days. After electric returned (3 days ago) ice maker isn't working. No water is even getting to the tray. Maybe melted ice refroze after all the cubes ice melted? Fridge was in house when we bought a few months ago so no manual. Thanks for any help. Mark
You may have a problem with the computer control board in the ice maker. Try this. Turn off the icemaker for about 2 minutes.
Turn on the ice maker and press the clear button. Press and hold this button for 12 seconds to get it to force extract. This will confirm that the motors will work and push the ice cubes out. Afterwards, let it run by itself. If it still doesn't make ice, you will need to replace the icemaker.

I have an LG refrigerator. Recently, the icemaker will not dispense ice. It appears that no water is entering teh icemaker, although teh water dispenser in the door is working. My icemaker does not have a 'clear' button. The refrigerator is about 8 years old. Any deas?
I have the same problem the fridge was off for a while and water/power was reconnected today, there is water ok in the water dispenser but the ice maker is not filling up. (from the posted solution earlier coul you please tell me which is the clear button?)
LG fridge, model lsc26905tt Everything was working fine until about 2 weeks ago the water dispenser stopped and I notice no ice was being made either. The flap that close after dispensing ice stopped closing so I thought maybe it was freezing since there was ice forming on the back of the door where ice dispenses. I had not changed the filter so I did that still nothing, I unplugged the frdige for about 12 hours and took off water lines in back of fridge to the water soruce, no blockage from wall to fridge still no luck.
