LG 52LG70 52 in. LCD HDTV Logo
Posted on Sep 17, 2011

Hi, my LG 52g70 has been go on and off by itself when ever it plug in. It happen month ago, I find that if I leave the < Input Select > on one of the HDMI port connect to my PS3, the TV will stay on , and every thing seen normal. But if I turn off or unplug the HDMI cable of PS3, the TV will gone crazy and continue go on and off by itself, will not stop until I unplug it. The TV will let me use other input like DVD player and computer, but only if I turn it on with the PS3 first, it seen like only the PS3 has strong enough signal to tell the TV to stay put . So what I 've been doing is turn my PS3 on before I fee the power into the TV. Has been fine and I could live with it until I accidentally switch the onto the the first port , its for the < TV Antenna >, now when ever I plug in the TV , it just start up for 1 sec. and switch off right away, and start up again , and switch off....... and it will not give me a chance or enough time to switch the back to one of the HDMI port. Dose any body there is a way to reset the TV ? or switch the input source manually ? Thank you. Kevin

My LG E2250V-PN turns on and my Macbook goes to a blue screen, indicating that it is picking up a signal, but then nothing happens. My Mac screen never shows on my LG. Also, even if i try to press the menu...

Hi sophie,

I see you want to extend you monito to an LG external monitor.

Have you tried selecting the input PC or the input that is for the cable that you are using for the Video.

If you are using HDMI select the Input HDMI on your LG if you are using DVI then you should select the input DVI to be able to get the signal from the Laptop come out of your LG.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day,

The laptop would not turn itself off after closing down. Advised it was a network issue and that I should reload from scratch. This I did and now find that there are a number of drivers...

Just perform the following steps and i am sure your issue will be resolved.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->System Restore

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next
Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the last month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.

Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.
