If you're using Yahoo Messenger or Skype to access your webcam and it says No Camera Detected, the camera might be turned-off. Try the following:

1. Presss Fn+ESC (The Fn key is located at the left side of the space bar). that's the hotkey to turn your Webcam ON and OFF and try to check if your Webcam works.

2. Open Device Manager - press the Windows Key+R and type devmgmt.msc on the keyboard (the windows key looks like this my lenovo s100 cant view - ray_tosh_1.jpg ) and look for Imaging Devices

3. If you see your webcam there, try to right click on it and Uninstall and restart your computer and check if your webcam works now.

If that still doesn't work and the webcam light is not turning ON, that's already a sign that your webcam is failing and needs to be replaced. If you're still under warranty, you can Call Lenovo Support at 1-877-453-6686 to have it serviced.

Good luck.

Boot not working

Check the boot configuration in the BIOS. It could be that the battery of the BIOS needs to be replaced (if this is an older PC)

Go to device manager by entering "devmgmt.msc" at run prompt and rollback the driver. You can browse through categories and select the webcam from the device list.
