The locking mechinism does not engage. The light does not come on for the lock light to start.

You will need to replace the door lock. Here is the part to order.
To replace the lock, remove the band securing the boot to the front panel and fold back the door boot. Now you can access and replace the lock. Let me know if you should need further help.

use some elbow grease to pull and push the wheel whilst operating the key

try to spay some WD40 on the mechinism and see if it helps ... if it works and the boot remains closed then open it and lubricate it with some lithium grease (comes in a spray can.) Do the bonnet latch as well while you are at it.

You can pry open the latch with a screw driver or lastly grind the latch. Try grabbing rod or cable with locking pliers and try pulling while prying at the same time.

For some reason the oven thinks you have a door that is not shut all of the way. Check the locking slot to make sure that there are no obstructions. Make sure that you are only doing one oven at a time, and not trying to cook in the other. Make sure you have no racks in the oven. Try pushing lightly on the door when the lock engages. For some reason your lock isn't engaging fully and that's why door is flashing. Good Luck

not enough information is the door locking?

The steering locks don't necessarily engage when the key is removed, I always turn the wheel before exiting to engage it. There are several positions that will allow the pin to lock in but if between these, it may seem that it isn't locked.
