This computer is running on an on-board Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 128MB-251MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. This means that it's embedded on the motherboard and thus cannot be upgraded. You can only upgrade the graphics card if your computer has removable graphics (such as Nvidia or AMD video graphics adapter) but it's still not recommended since the price of these upgrades will cost half or even 2/3's the cost of your computer.

Cheers.

I have ACERT EMACHINE 250 NETBOOK THAT BROWSE VERY SLOW AND I AM USING WINDOW 7..PLS WHAT COULD BE THE POSSIBLE PROBLEM AND HOW CAN I RESOLVE IT. THANKS

In that case you should upgrade your Ram,memory and graphics card.If you are using 1gb Ram then upgrade it to 3gb by adding 2gb Ram.Then you can see the difference. You can also upgrade your memory like that.If you are using 500gb Memory then upgrade it to 1tb Memory. Then you can see and feel much difference.Upgrading graphics card is an optional thing. If you upgrade it you can see difference in gaming and in your system graphics.

If you do all this things surely your system will improve it's performance.

Can I upgrade the video card on a Gateway E4300 to work with Shader 3 graphics (Eve Online)? Or do I have to buy a new computer?

You only really need to upgrade the video card and the PSU (most video cards need more power than what most companies like dell and gateway provide.). So no need to buy a new computer.

Can i upgrade my graphics card in this computer?

Since this is a laptop you won't be able to change the video card physically like the desktop computers. This Toshiba model has an ATI Radeon TM X1250 128MB-831MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. So that means by default it can provide a 128MB of graphics power, but if you increase the size of the memory you can also get up to 831MB of graphics memory therefore increasing or upgrading the available video memory of your laptop.

Im looking for drivers that can upgrade it from 16mb to 64 mb

Hi,

Unfortunately you can not upgrade your "NVIDIA Vanta LT 16 MB AGP" Graphic card from 16 MB to 64 MB by installing or upgrading the driver.

It comes in 4-16 MB configurations and the max video memory is 16 MB for that type of graphic card.

You have to buy new graphic card which is capable 64 MB memory.

Hope this helps.

Can arcer laptop graphic card be upgrade

No, your video card cannot be upgraded, it's integrated in the motherboard. The only thing you can do is to assign it more memory.

Graphic card

1. You cannot upgrade your graphic card without buying another one.
2. Your onboard card "shares" the memory available to the computer so it is not actually a 224 MB one as it shares the memory the computer has. To up the amount of memory your onboard graphics uses, go into your computer's BIOS and adjust the size there. Doing so, however, will decrease the amount of system RAM available and, with only 256 MB memory it will run even slower than it is running now.
