Im a user of Laptop nc6230 for long time , not i found a problem with my laptop. Same time when i switched on the laptop, i can hear everything sound,fan but the screen remain blank. And some time it display. And when connected to external monitor it display..! Please assist me on how to solve the problem.

No, Johnny; it won't support a 42 inch HDTV, and your internal monitor of the laptop.

In fact, IMHO it won't support just using the HDTV.

I take your question to mean your screen is not functioning?
When you switch your laptop on count six seconds then press F2.

If you get a screen coming up with systems information - switch off then on - count six seconds press F8

In both cases if no screen it could be your video card at fault.

First change your cmos battery and power on your laptop if it powers on means check your cpu temperature in the bios screen and post me back

Sounds like the display panel is bad

it could be overheating check the fan jim

Clear temp files and reboot
If you're using Skype turn off keyboard shortcuts
Make sure sticky keys are turned off
Keyboard cable/keyboard may need to be replaced

No. the graphics can not be upgraded because its is built on the board directly.
