My duet washer is flashing an H and an F (one then the other) while in the rinse cycle of a heavy duty load (towels, not full load). Ideas?

The transmission might be going bad.

Try running an empty heavy duty wash cycle with a pint of vinegar added to the water, run wash cycle for two or three minutes then turn the machine off for thirty minutes then restart and let finish the full wash cycle

try doing a large load of white, lots of bleach, hot wash and hot rinse, heavy duty cycle

check cold water line...onthejob,,,im assuming no rinse cycle only..onthejob,,,no mater the cycle

If the drain time exceeds eight minutes, the water valves are
turned off and “F/02” is flashed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two
times to clear the display.
NOTE: After four minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed,
then four minutes later the “F/02” error code will be
displayed.



Possible Causes / Procedure
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make
sure the pump is running.
4. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
