The only way you can install apps onto your iPad is though the apple app store. There should be an icon directly on your iPad that can take you there. It is an icon just saying "app store".
If you have iTunes on your computer, you can also access the app store through there, download the apps to your computer and then sync the iPad to iTunes on your computer. I hope this helps :)
Due to the nature of iOS this actually isn't possible unless you jailbreak your iPad. Apple carefully screens all applications made by vendors and approves them to be put on the app store. There is no other way around this. You can download applications from websites on other platforms such as Android and Blackberry but not apple. Sorry for the bad news.
