Have you installed the Soundblaster drivers? Have you plugged your speakers in to the soundblaster outputs? When you install a discrete card (graphics or sound) it bypasses the onboard chips. You could also try the audio settings in the control panel.
Is the front panel audio connected to the motherboard? With any problem involving Wigglies(electirics) you should check your connections first, then fuses. In your case just the connections.
Asus never produced a Win 7 driver for the sound chip on this board. You will need to go into the bios and disable the onboard sound and buy a pci sound card and use that instead.
Try another monitor, if problem still exists your VGA is damaged, if youre using the onboard vga then connect a PCIex vga card get into bios (suppose the display problem is solved) and disable the onboard VGA option. Keep your pc running like this (using external VGA adaptor).
Make sure you have it Enabled in the Bios (from page 2-17 of the user manual): 2.4.5 Onboard Devices Configuration Onboard PCIE 10/100M LAN [Enabled] Allows you to enable or disable the onboard LAN controller. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] LAN Option ROM [Disabled] Allows you to enable or disable the boot ROM in the onboard LAN controller. This item appears only when the Onboard LAN item is set to Enabled. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Hi Check the BIOS settings . Perhaps embedded audio is disabled Check in Device Manager correct driver installation Check correct auto-detection connection speakers. May need to manually adjust
Check the BIOS ("del" key upon start-up or "F1, F2 or F10" depending on system to access the menu). Check for audio setting (may need to scroll through menu categories to see if onboard audio is enabled). If disabled, try to enable it by hit spacebar, left/right arrow key or + - keys to change setting. If it is an add-on sound card you may need to install or re-install the drivers and in this case the onboard audio should be disabled in BIOS.
